Who would guess that Pflugerville has a little french bakery/cafe that has the most delicious croissants and yummy assortment of delightful desserts! This place is a bit hidden behind the Starbucks and Cash Advance, but not to be missed.

I was visiting Austin and was looking for somewhere unique to have breakfast. I found this spot on Yelp! and thought I would give it a shot. Well, I must have come at a not great time because their display window was kind of empty....They have indoor seating and there were several customers present. I ordered the quiche poireux and lemon bar. It took A WHILE to get my order out to me, even though they were both cooked already. I was sorely disappointed in the quiche. The crust was NOT GOOD. It was very stiff, almost like bread, instead of being flaky and fresh. I ended up just eating the filling of the quiche and tossing the crust. The lemon bar was REALLY good though, so it made up a little bit for the disappointing quiche.More

Having lived in France the first 8 years of my life, I can certify that this has GREAT, authentic, French food. I enjoyed my breakfast because it reminded me of my childhood. Delicious!

Exterior of restaurant is a bit off-putting, with giant faded paper photos of entrees, which gives off a barrio vibe — you’ll wonder if you’re actually going into a French restaurant. Go in and there aren’t many items in the bakery display counter —maybe four...pastries and one lemon bar and lots of bottled beverages. We ordered from the menu. I got soup and a crepe and my friend got quiche and a crepe. My French Onion soup was the best I’ve ever had... lots of cheese, onions plus carrots, and a rich broth. My friend’s quiche was a small individual pie with too much dark crust, but she ate it all and did not complain. It didn’t look good to me. Our crepes were excellent, but we wished we had more. The lady serving us seemed perhaps Caribbean. For a little while she said she could not serve honey on the side, but I think we might have had a small language issue. This restaurant needs to take down the giant food photos, decorate like a bistro, offer more baked goods for display, and take more care with their quiche crust. It could be a wonderful bistro.More

I would tell you about my meal but I never got to taste it. After a 20 minute wait, my breakfast sandwich was burnt to a crisp and inedible. That was before the 10 minute wait to get menus and water. My husband did get...to eat his food and was surprised that a French cafe would grossly overcook eggs the way they did. I mention the length of the wait because we had two hungry boys with us (2 and 5). Also, there are 6 tables in the whole place --6. One would assume that management would have the staff needed to efficiently handle this many people. Maybe one person to take orders, one person to cook and one person to deliver orders to the tables instead of one person to cook and deliver and one person to take orders and stand still. Additionally, there was another party that had to ask if their food could be warmed. That's not cool. I will say that the cook was friendly and understanding as I returned the plate she had just handed me. And the guy taking the orders had the patience of a saint. He just stood there and waited for patrons to step through the door. I mentioned the bathroom -- be careful when you turn on the faucet in the ladies'. You will get a soggy surprise of that handle is pulled all the way.More

The owner is very friendly, and serves delicious dishes I ordered a croque madame and it was awesome, also the coffee served with a strong flavor, and pan au chocolate a delight, and it’s not expensive at all.

La Patisserie does not have decor that matches their cuisine. The no-nonsense decor can be ignored as the quiche and crepe that me and my dining companion were high quality and very tasty. However, it was not easy to find despite GPS.

I tried the quiche and salad and it was very tasty and filling. The food is organic and fresh! The customer service was excellent! I think our waitress was also our cook but she was very very nice!! I would definitely come back again.

Delicous breakfast and excellent coffee. Great pastries too. Ironic that they are right next door to Starbucks in Pflugerville.
