I can’t say anything nice about this place. Unfortunately I was with a group that wanted to eat here so I went along. I was not surprised that the food, service and management were still horrible. Enjoyed the first visit so much, I returned later in the week. Outdoor seating is a huge plus. Service was friendly. Wines were good. Parking was free and easy. Great location.
The food and service were fine but that becomes unimportant if you are exposed to COVID. We were told the servers did not need masks because we were eating outside (think Amy Comey's reception in the White House Rose Garden) and that masks weren't necessary...inside because they had special UV filters. Hospitals and airplanes have UV filters also but everyone still wears a mask. We can not return until they change their mask policy.More
My husband and I have recently moved to the Montgomery area. While driving into town, we spotted the Cozy Grape and just thought 'let's try that place!'. I should preface that our house is being renovated - and we have no kitchen currently... so we've...been eating out a lot. Far and away - this is our favorite place we've been to.... everything from the ambience (love the outdoor seats - and we usually prefer to sit inside) to the appetizers to the unexpected dishes they serve. Items I normally wouldn't try (like a bleu cheese crustini) are all just.so.danged.good. we will be back again and again. We feel so lucky to be in a rural area yet have access to wonderful places like the Cozy Grape.More

Went for dinner last night and while the food was delicious and the service was great I was very disappointed the management has taken no action to protect their customers or staff from COVID-19. No masks, gloves or social distancing. Had we not gone to...meet our family for a special occasion we would have left. Food and service was great COVID-19 protection poor hense the two star rating. I will not be back for a long while.More

This was our first dinner out since covid hit and I was very apprehensive about going out, but the tables were perfectly distanced from each other and their new ventilation system was explained to us so we felt very comfortable being back at our favorite...restaurant! Had a brilliant server, very chatty and respectful and extremely interesting to chat with. I had my favorite of scallops, shrimp w/ spinach ravioli and grilled squash. Hubby had the filet mignon and then we both shared 'his' creme brûlée. Everything was delicious, as always.More

Cosy Grape are open for great take-away during the Coronavirus epidemic. Tom posts what the specials are on their facebook page each day, and the regular menu is also available, as are drinks to go. If you're picking the food up to eat later, most...of the menu reheats well, and is just as tasty as normal ...... The regular staff are still working, and you can call your order in, and pick it up at the door later. Please keep supporting the locally owned restaurants that we all love, and want to be there at the end of this struggle. Still great food, wine, people ...... and it's great to get a break from home cooked food :-)More

My wife and I went to dinner with our son and daughter-in-law at Cozy Grape, one of pour favorite area restaurants. I started with their Wedge Salad and my wife had her favorite starter, their Escargot. Their Escargot is excellent, as I have had it...in the past. Our son and his wife split an order of Escargot. When our waitress described their specials, unusually for us, all four of us chose the same special! It was Red Snapper Papiliote, or a large filet of Red Snapper with bell peppers, onions, carrots, and maybe fennel (?) and spices all cooked in a paper bag. The aroma when we tore open the bag was amazing, but not as awesome as the taste. It was a great meal and we thoroughly enjoyed a leisurely, delicious dinner accompanied by two bottles of Crossings Sauvignon Blanc. Another great meal here as usual.More

We visited Cozy Grape a few years ago and found it to be lacking in the menu which was mostly sandwiches. We ate dinner there last week and found a totally different place with an expanded menu. The short rib was great and a bit...larger than other places. The chicken and shrimp was great as well. They opened the upstairs which was quiet and my wife thought romantic. The only short coming is the lack of good wine. They have mostly Texas wines and a couple of lower end non-Texas wines. We will add Cozy Grape to our list for a nice quiet romantic dinner.More

Stopped in for lunch one day and they were about to close. They were very nice and sat us anyway. The food was good and the service was great. No complaints.
