From a restaurant with such a good review on Tripadvisor I did not expect the waiter to pick up an out of date straw and throw it in my coke. The other waiter gave a great service throughout the dinner. The food is not bad,...More

Dear Christian, Thank you for the review and for your honesty. We are confused what you mean by and "out of date" straw. We certainly don't reuse straws, and actually don't use them at all unless specifically asked for. Reusing straws would both be disgusting...More

This restaurant cannot be faulted. Food and service were both fantastic. Björn, the co-owner, looked after us from the moment we walked in. He was very attentive and told us anything we wanted to know about the menu. The pace of service was just right....More

Whenever we are in Gran Can we always pop in to see the lovely Bjorn and spend the evening catching up and eating the great food on offer. Lovely place, great food and marvellous staff. Ben and Jake x

Great atmosphere, delicious authentic foods served by a delightfully handsome waiter. Their meatballs are especially flavourful and a good price. Would highly recommend.

Love this restaurant. Always has a great atmosphere, food, style and very friendly staff! Would recommend to any Brits who are visiting and tempted to try some Danish food (or just a massive burger!). Some vegan options too which was useful! See you again soon!...More

A warm welcome from the friendly owner who told us that he served "Danish comfort food like his Grandmother would make". He was not wrong! The cheese tartlet starter was tasty and satisfying and the main course Buttered Plaice was superb. Nothing seemed to be...More

Determined to try something a little different, and having tried Chinese, Italian, Mexican, Indian, French and Greek cuisine during a visit to Gran Canaria during early August, we decided to continue the trend during our short three night stay at the end of September. Copenhagen...More

These guys know what they are doing. The food here was absolutely delicious, and I mean **delicious**. We ordered goats cheese tartlets and Danish meatballs. Excuse me while I drool, the tartlets were out of this world, so tasty and soft and flavoursome. The Danish...More

A Danish restaurant in the middle of Gran Canaria is not very authentic but this was great Danish food. Friendly service and the food was excellent. Fully recommend a visit

Description
Restaurant COPENHAGEN by Hannibal is a small and cozy restaurant, which specializes in Danish, Scandinavian and international cuisine. Gay owned-and-operated, we welcome everybody from families with children, couples looking for a romantic evening and groups of friends for dinner before the night of fun at the local Yumbo Centrum. While Danish cuisine might sound foreign, it's really not. It's homely and filling, and always a little surprising, for those who are new to it.
