Went for dinner on our one night away from the kids, due to having a babysitter. Was everything we had hoped for. Amazing food, great wine, service and ambience. Will definitely return next time.

Food good. Service good. Value = good. What more can I say. A very good restaurant in a ski resort, without some of ridiculous prices that other restaurants charge.

If you're looking for either a traditional or montagnard (with sliced, cooked meats) fondue or a racette and you're in La Plagne, then look no further, as this is the place to go. I've tried all 3 and all 3 are absolutely fantastic! Then the choice of amazingly tasty and large sized deserts, plus the great and friendly service and... More

Our Chalet staff night off began well. They recommended La Refuge and duly booked it for us. Things went down hill when we arrived at our given time, to be told by the 'arsey' waiter that he couldn't possibly fit us in. We told him we had booked. 'Well I can't possibly fit you in until at least 9pm. Look... More

Booked for 6 people, but 2 extras turned up who they then couldn't accommodate on the same table, so had to seat us separately. Set menu was reasonably priced, with no choices on the cheaper option but a few choices on the €24 version. Food well presented and tasty.

Group of 12 - accommodated but you must book as was absolutely packed. Good mix of mountain cuisine as well as good French steaks/tatare and even snails. Service for us was great. Be wary of the house white it is very sweet but still drinkable - just not what you expect! All in all very good food - lovely fondue... More

6 of us ate here and all agreed the food was great and good value. We all ordered from the 3 course 24 Euro set menu. There were 3 choices for each course and the quality was excellent. My only slight complaint would be the spacing between tables as they tried to squeeze too many in on a very busy... More

The restaurant is alpine charm, but with more than a hint of artistic modernism. Think big red flouncy light shades and illuminated reindeer heads! The initial welcome was a little cool, but once seated the serving staff were pleasant and very efficient. We had the' pierre chaud ' i.e. the hot cooking stone, and it came with a generous amount...
