Loved loved this warm, inviting, atmospheric restaurant. Staying in Plagne Village they collected us in their mini van - a short walk across the snowy slope to this magical Alpine wooden piste-side restaurant. Fabulous food ( we had thinly sliced beef that we cooked ourselves on an electric hot plate with salad & the best chips), great wine list &... More

Having read some of the reviews we were worried that this unique location had lost its quality but thankfully whatever problems they may have had are in the past. The experience begins the moment the 'cow bus' navette appeared on time to collect us to the charming and welcoming waitress' tolerant smile at our pigeon French, through a truly wonderful... More

Stopped by for mid morning hot chocolate and drinks first day and then again later in week. Was nice and good comfort food.

This restaurant is also known as Le Sauget or Le Pat De Sauget. It looks attractive. Four of us arrived for lunch, and first of all met a French friend on the terrace. She said that the people there were 'odd' and had been rude to her and her partner (both French). Thinking nothing of it we entered, decided to... More

This restaurant was recommended to us so we booked for our family group. The place is beautifully situated and is a pretty venue. The French family sitting near us were eating what looked like very good food as were another family we were acquainted with. Unfortunately our food bore no resemblance to theirs! We all ordered steaks. The food was... More

I was staying in the chalet Michelle in la Plange 1800 which is just below the restaurant located on the run by the 1800 chair lift. Our group of 12 was picked up by free transfer outside Le Mine bar and then returned after the meal. Please note its all part of the fun: you will have to walk across... More

We have eaten here many times over the years both for lunch and for dinner. This year it was a quick lunch and whilst the waitress deserves a special mention for being both welcoming and hard working the food was expensive when compared to other restaurants on the slopes in the resort and on this occasion absolutely tasteless.

The older man is extremely unfriendly. They had problems with the card payment and I didn't bring cash... I wanted to discuss a solution but he told me that he was French, we are in France so if I wanted to talk to him I should speak French... What a good proposal! He told me that I have to pay... More

We ate here twice for lunch . It is a small and quirky Alpine hut which lends it a unique ambience. The food was really good although the service is a bit hit and miss, on the second visit it felt like an imposition to pay the bill! Overall, a mountain hut with good food and a certain charm; what... More

This used to be a favourite lunch spot but no more. Six of us went there today. The music was loud and completely at odds with the ambience. Being the only group there we politely asked if the volume could be turned down so we could hear ourselves speak. We were ignored despite three requests. When we paid the bill... More
