If you want to see Bidart, an old whaling village and watch the world go by visit the Elissaldia. Very well situated on the village square in Bidart it is picturesque and serves great food at good prices. Service is friendly and good, seating is mostly outside in the square but there is indoor seating as well. Recently renovated it... More

Myself, my partner and our son had lunch here at the end of August and found it to be a good value restaurant, with a relaxed and comfortable atmosphere in a delightful setting, looking out over Bidart town square. We had good service from a number of the staff, and would certainly come back if we were in Bidart again.

We had not visited Bidart for over 35 years and did not know what to expect but were hopeful. We were not disappointed, the village is still... More

We went here twice whilst Bidart was 'en fete' and also celebrating the Rugby World Cup so consequently the town square was very busy and tables were at a premium. However we managed to get seated and were glad we did. The first night we had the set menu for 25 euros which was great value. We both had salade... More

It's the best place to have a meal in Bidart, the tasty food, the esplanada facing bidart plaza, 10min walk from nearby beaches and friendly staff.

Chilled bar in the middle of the square, good on market days. Had a few light snacks and drinks and breakfast on a few occasions, lovely croissants

Went here with a group of friends one evening for dinner and we were very satisfied with both the food and service. We managed to get a table outside and the waiters could not have been more friendly and efficient. The food was all good quality at a fair price for the area. It's more of a family friendly restaurant... More
