Best fish dish I've ever eaten - my wife agrees. Great location to watch the sun set, hotel offers a shuttle to and from town to get there as well. Exquisite dining experience.

I have been coming to Bermuda for 10 years now, I remember when this place was just BlackBeards. Still delicious, but since Pierro arrived a few years back and transformed it into the Beach House the experience has become something I look forward to all...More

It was our first visit - great chowder, excellent Bermuda fish sandwich, terrific views, and service!

We always enjoy a romantic sunset dinner here but are also finding this a great location to share with friends. One of the best sunset dinners you will find anywhere. The covered outdoor setting and good food make for an enjoyable evening.

Revisited and looked forward to lunch in a great location. Unfortunately it was really disappointing. Food very bland. We had the burgers which were a grey colour and quite tasteless. We hoped that dessert would be better but. ......No! We were showed the desserts on...More

During the day, The Beach House overlooks Achilles Bay, and sheltered bay for sunbathing and swimming. During the summer there is a beach bar. Lunch and dinner are served but the real bonus is spectacular sunsets. And Ross is a great bartender!

While staying at the St. Georges Club, we ate several times at The Beach House restaurant. Our food was always very good, the service was excellent, and the view from this spot is lovely. Recommended!

Everyone was attentive, but you could not see the sunset from your table. The Red Hind fresh fish was excellent; Fish chowder was good too. One thing it is lacking is lighting when you are leaving the restaurant in the dark. We needed to use...More

I ate lunch here with friends and enjoyed the pretty blue and white beachy decore. The service was good, and the place was quiet on a Monday noon, but I felt it was pricey. I had spinach ravioli for $23. No salad, no bread, just...More

A little out of the way and hard to find. But worth the hike from town. Lovely spot for lunch on a sunny day. Enjoyed the onion tart with a cold glass of white wine. Courtesy shuttle back to town was appreciated as well.

Description
A secluded cove on the islands of Bermuda is reportedly where one Edward Teach, better known as Blackbeard, spent some time hiding out from the Governor Eden of North Carolina around 1718. His ship the Queen Anne’s Revenge may have even anchored off Achilles’ Bay; the crew may have basked on the beach and fished and swam in crystal clear turquoise water. They may also have created a small hut on the shore to shelter from the sun but what stands there today has transformed into the Beach House at Blackbeard's. It serves some of the best food on the island with wine to match in a shabby chic restaurant with a good bar and a special view of the sunset.
