Wonderful in all respects. We had a party of 9 in a private room on a busy Saturday night and the food and service was outstanding. Our server was the best. Sorry I cannot remember her name because she deserves thanks for making this family evening a success. Food was over the top from appetizer to entre to desert

Got into Lubbock late and arrived at Double Nickel around 9:30. We were two guys on camping road trip and were pretty scruffy so we ate at the bar. Food, service, and conversation were excellent. Prices were reasonable for quality and size of steaks. NY strip and ribeye both excellent. Must have the sugar snap peas for veggie side and... More

Date night for wife and I. Knew this was expensive place but found it was worth it. We split a 16 oz ribeye and each got sides to go along. Steak had fair amount of gristle but flavor was excellent. What got us was the service - IMPECCABLE. You see waiters setting up tables and polishing each glass - holding... More

With the recent trend in restaurants to experiment and serve selections that are new and different, it's refreshing to find a high end steakhouse that just focuses on doing one thing and doing it right. It's no knock on other places that do the "trendy" thing (I like many of those as well), but sometimes you just want standards like... More

My long-time friend (a Lubbock resident) and I ate here one evening last week. It is one of his favorite places and I rely on him to suggest where we have meals when I am in the area to visit. To someone unfamiliar with this restaurant, it is competitive with high-end national chains like Ruth Chris or Flemings. Our food... More

We found this restaurant on our way to Las Vegas. We stopped in Lubbock and tripadvisor recommended it. Well worth the trip. It is pricy but the food was fantastic. You'll want to have at least a collared shirt as most on in suits of business casual for men. Seems to be a popular business meeting location. We had the... More

Nice restaurant, decor was a little dated. But the food was not lacking at all! The wife had the filet mignon and I had the salmon couldn't ask for better, nice wine selection. Very nice wait staff.

2nd time I've been here. Wine selection is good. Steak filet is fantastic. Service is amazing. I ate at the bar this visit. The bartenders, Dillon and Barry, were great guys and provided some of the best service I've ever had. The rare steak was perfect. Warm in the center. Thick. Juicy. Tender. The Saldana and sides were also good... More

For the price especially the food was not very good. Although the service was. And even though they messed up our order there was no recompense offered.
