The atmosphere is very nice however the food was average at best. We learned of this franchise through a family recommendation and the TripAdvisor rating. It was disappointing given it did not live up to its reputation.

My daughter and I had been told about Blue Sky Burger. We visiting there for lunch the restaurant was packed but they moved us through quickly. When your order is ready, your number comes on a screen. No annoying announcers calling out your number. Excellent food. We had burgers, onion rings and fries. My daughter said that this was the... This is a good restaurant for any choice of food. It is in a good location, very nice facility and quick service. It has a price range for any family or for individual dining. We always enjoy their burgers and fries. When in Lubbock visiting or even a resident stop in and give them a try.

The portions are huge, the chili cheese fries are a meal not a side unless you are a Big eater. The onion rings are delicious and you have to get a milkshake

Yes it's a burger joint. But the place is fun and the burgers and rings are great. The green chili burger is the absolute best. The onion rings are very good as well. Great for a family outing.

I was visiting from out of town and my family took me here for dinner. The cheeseburger was okay but my sister's chicken sandwich was very good. I think there are several better places to get a burger, but the staff was very friendly and the onion rings were worth the trip.

I've been to Blue Sky a number of times. It's ok but certainly not anything special. Food tends to be quite greasy. (Onion rings and french fries especially) Prices are moderate and atmosphere is clean. Really don't understand the attraction the locals have to this place. Many other hamburger places are better quality and better tasting.

The burgers are bland. I got a frito pie to go and it was ridiculous! There was approx 3/4 cup of fritos in a container and 3-4 tablespoons of chili in a tiny cup. Also included was a tiny cup of queso-not cheese but queso. There was not any onions either. The so called chili was mostly grease. I have... More

This is a review for the one at 98th and Quaker, which is much better, IMHO, than the one on 4th. A local chain(?) with 2 in Amarillo, 2 in Lubbock, and 1 in Abilene. They serve a very good burger, not a great one. I'm going to guess it's about 1/3 lb patty, fresh not frozen, for about $6.... More

Pretty typical burger joint, good food. Had the grilled chicken salad and it was pretty good and VERY large. We had a decent sized group and were in and out pretty quickly at lunch. Only negative is they put American Cheese on one of our person's Philly Cheese steak.
