My last review of Apple Tree was in 2012. I heard that the restaurant had some rocky times on the retirement of its prior ownership. I am really happy to report that I ate there on a recent Saturday at noon and it is wonderful to see the Apple Tree back up and doing well with new management that has... More

Husband and I stopped in for lunch today. We have not been here in several years after they changed some of their soup recipes. Food was nothing to rave about, but the sandwiches were prepared fresh and as we requested. I would consider it a little pricey for the amount pf food we received. I believe it has changed ownership... More

I now have been for lunch. Breakfast is excellent and so is lunch!!! Fresh cut to order French fries!!! The best in Lubbock. Hand formed patties not frozen for burgers. Fresh scratch made chicken salad. It is yummy!!!

No poured eggs here! Even omlettes are cracked eggs! Friend and I went on a Saturday morning after our run. Had omlettes with bacon and hot tea. All was really good!! Service was personable and atmosphere was pleasant and quaint. Many scratch made baked goods. This is a hidden gem!! Will be back!

Always a delight to find a local "hole in the wall" restaurant that serves good food at very reasonable prices. We have not tried lunch, but the breakfast we had was great. My wife, somewhat a French Toast junkie, was very happy. I was just as pleased with my pancake, egghead, and sausage. There was only one waited, but was... More

I was lured to try this place by a Yahoo generated article about the Top Ten restaurants in Lubbock. We ordered coffee, the spiced apple waffle special, and a three egg omelet. Almost everything came cold. The omelet came with a biscuit/gravy side. The biscuit was light and fluffy, however the library paste gravy was ice cold. I sent it... More

I just stopped by at 7:30 in the morning needing a cake for an early morning meeting. The Apple cake I picked up was moist and delicious!! Definitely beats the muffins and donuts from a big box. Highly recommend.

Great food and staff very friendly. Found it because of Trip Advisor and friends who live in Lubbock didn't even know it was there. It's a nice change of pace.

We stopped in on our way out of town to get lunch and dessert. I had the daily special-Lasagne with homemade garlic toast and my daughter ordered the chicken strips. Both were out of this world! The employees were so friendly and hospitable. We had cookies for dessert and the were good also.

I have been going to Apple tree for many years. The food is always delicious. The baked goods are very good. It's a must try for lunch or breakfast.
