After 30+ years of successful operation, Johnny Cace's closed their doors in 2015. However, a takeout restaurant called The Cace Kitchen has opened on North High Street. They have a limited menu serving some of Johnny Cace's favorites.

This Longview landmark closed on 3/28/15. Sad to see it close. Service was always us great but food quality had declined over last several years. Building was in need of updating. The owners were such nice folks.

There's no point in writing a review since it will no longer be in business. It was excellent inits day but that day is passing.
This legend of East Texas has perhaps outlived its time. Visited there today with extended family for "old times sake." Really a downer. Expensive, bad food and slow service. Thanks for the memories, but time to "turn out the lights."
