I'm glad I stopped here for the first time ever. Ordered 1/4 lb brisket, 1 pork rib, pecan cobbler, and potato salad. VERY EXPENSIVE to eat here though the food is delicious

Coopers BBQ Highly recommended and they were RIGHT! Choose your BBQ meats and sides. Eat it there on picnic tables inside (family style) or take it to go. We did both. Well worth the stop if you like Texas BBQ!!!

Meat was ordered outside the restaurant where it was displayed on a grill. Order by amount, pay by pound. Inside, pick from potato salad, coleslaw, deserts. Eat off special white paper and sit on long benches where many condiments were placed. Pour your own drinks from fountain. Free beans. Oh how I loved the whole experience. Staff very friendly. They... More

It's hard to miss Coopers as you go through tiny Llano, Texas - the huge, wide facade grabs you as you drive by as does the thick smoke emanating from the four outdoor pits. Pull up onto the gravel parking lot and join the line stretching from the giant front pit. You choose from a simple menu that includes ribs,... More

They certainly have earned every nice thing said about their food and business! From the pit where the super friendly employee was ready to offer suggestions to us first timers, to the table where a very employee chatted us up about our mutual love for Texas Country music, this joint does not disappoint. The sauce is KILLER and we devoured... More

First time I ever ate at Cooper's I wasn't the best judge of how much meat to ask to be cut. Everything looked so good. Needless to say, I ended up with about $40 worth of BBQ for just myself and a lot to take home. This is not a touristy spot. There are deer hunters, ranchers, locals, you name... More

Pick out your own meat. Then go inside for family style picnic tables, white bread, beans, and sweet tea!

Sometimes they have long lines. Be patient. The best BBQ I've tasted..Beef and pork ribs, and all kinds of meats. Gigantic BBQ pits. It's in a small town that most people have never heard of...Worth going just for the BBQ Expensive...so be prepared. Lunch for 2 can cost $50. You sit and eat a picnic tables. Paper towels as napkins.....true... More
