I've eaten here several times, but usually had a sandwich or salad. Well, today I came with 3 other ladies and the special was catfish with two sides -- all four of us ordered it, two fried and two grilled. We were all very pleased. The sautéed spinach was fabulous! Service was very good considering there were only two servers... More

Friends took us to this place for lunch which turned out to be a very good experience. The food is good, portions large, and the wait staff friendly and efficient.

The location is a little out of the way but well worth the drive. Our lunch could not have been more delicious, Friendly staff. The gift shop and garden are very unique. A great place if you are looking for an eating experience out of the ordinary.

This was a regular stop for us and we stoppped in for lunch today. We ordered the meatloaf and chicken fried chicken. Portions were very small and my meatloaf appeared to be resurrected and overcooked. Our waitress was very attentive and No complaints with the service. The food was a disappointment both in portion size and quality. Sorry to say... More

12/30/16 Had a great breakfast except for a really odd presentation. My wife had the florentine omelette which was perfect. I had the basic 2 eggs easy over, sausage patties, fried potatoes & sourdough toast. The chef ruined the potatoes by frying them with a powerful helping of fresh garlic. The garlic was completely overpowering and who ever heard of... More

We arrived around 11:30 and had our pick of tables to choose from but by the time we left every table was full and people were waiting. We started with the soup of the day which was beef noodle. It had a rich beefy flavor and the noodles were perfectly cooked. I got the loaded quesadilla and indeed it was!... More

My ladies lunch group enjoyed a delicious meal today at the Cafe. It is a short drive out from the main part of Kerrville, but well worth it. The menu is varied, focusing somewhat on "comfort" foods. Portions are very generous, so take a good appetite. I had a delicious burger, one had fried catfish with fried green tomatoes, another... More
