Skallywags is one of our favorite local places to go for a bite and a beer. Everything on the menu is delicious - you really can't go wrong with any of it! The bartenders a friendly and there is always a unique blend of locals/regulars and tourists. Great location to watch the sunset too!

This is a craft brew pub. It is not fine dining. With that said, the beers are almost exclusively locally sourced. And the bartenders are quite knowledgeable about the beer. As far as the food goes....INSANELY GOOD!!! The owner is a foodie and it shows in the food. I have a tendency to get stuck on a particular dish if... More

We popped in here to escape the heat during a hot May afternoon. We were staying one night in Kemah (over Memorial day weekend) as part of a 3 week road-trip and after taking a gander at the boardwalk we needed to grab a drink and cool down. This place looked cool and very much like a 'pub' back home... More

My friends ordered drinks while I saved seats. I went up to order the same drink from the manager this time, but was charged $3 less as it was the special. I told my friends who then went to ask for clarification/money back and the bartender told them they were wrong and they wouldn't know any better because we aren't... More

I like this place for Happy Hour. You have to go to the bar and order but the bar tenders are very good. The Skins are great and the fish tacos are very good too.

This place is COOL!!! We are new to the area, so we are trying to check all the different places. Lots of different craft beers.. The food is awesome. They just put a different twist to everything. This place is not big. But a great place to spend a hot afternoon or evening after shopping in Kemah. And above all,... More

After reading so many bad reviews, I was cautious about eating here for lunch a couple weekends ago, But, I am glad we did--the service was quite good and friendly. The bartender was doubling as waitress and instead of making us order at the bar she came to our "table" (wooden barrel standing on end). She was quite knowledgeable of... More

Where do I start? The owner keeps a rotating tap list that changes almost weekly. The food looks like typical pub fare, but is anything but. From the honey sriracha wings to the bison burger with peanut butter and caramelized onions(The Wyatt Erp) there is something for everyone. The staff is friendly and always ready to help you make an... More

We came on a weekday with locals to enjoy a beer and relax. So many great choices of beer, lots of locals relaxing and talking, amazing bar menu and I wished we hadn't just eaten. Music was a bit loud but we sat in a corner and enjoyed the eclectic crowd. Next time we will come for dinner and a... More
