Tried Joe's for the first time. Very busy place. I had the biscuits and gravy with a side of eggs. Gravy was very bland, no seasoning or sausage. Biscuits were dry. Great service though. Just not worth a second visit.

This is nothing special from a food aspect. It's your classic American diner fair, and in many ways it is a nostalgic vestige of a more sociable past. Perhaps the most notable aspect of Joe's is the community. The owner is the friendliest an most attentive lady, and the waitresses are like sweet aunts / grandmothers. The number of regulars... I visited Joe's after church on Sunday. We made a reservation fearing a large crowd but we didn't need to. Although the place was packed, no one had to wait to be seated. The kitchen was well-organized and put out quality food fast. The waitstaff was friendly. I ordered the hot links and eggs with hash browns and biscuits and... More

Dang is this place good or what? It's better than good. So good I called in every day! The owners - Carol and her daughter Tammy - are really friendly and love to chat to customers. The food is excellent. Freshly cooked, generous portions and good value for money.

When visitingmy Uncle we always fit Joe's in for breakfast. Great breakfast food (I recommend the French toast) and great friendly service. Not only is the French toast good but also the eggs, bacon and hash browns are yummy. Love the small town feel and love the friendly staff! Joe's rocks!

We made our first visit to Joe's a while back, since it's an Irving "institution". We quickly learned why: The staff is very friendly, the menu offerings ample, and the food just kept coming and coming! It was all very good, but we had to take our yummy pie portions to go.

very busy place in the mornings, but that's what their name says. We usually do breakfast, but occasionally lunch, if in the area. Breakfast is best, though...

Under new ownership and i's so bad that the old staff who worked there even left and opened their own coffee shop! The food at Joe's is not what it used to be and most of the staff is rude. It's a wonder the doors are still open.
