We hadn't been here in several years and decided to go last night July 14th 2017. We ordered the Laredo, Juarez, the Grand meal, and the kids chicken nuggets meal. All of it was very good. Had quest also and it was OK. But then...More

My sister took me to lunch here. Great watermelon margarita and delicious food. The chips and salsa were so much better than most restaurants. Food beautifully prepard, served piping hot and delicious.

In a city FILLED with Mexican restaurants, Abuela's stands out as the best of the best. Their dip sampler gives a hint of what lies in store. And, with several locations throughout the Metroplex, you're never too far away.

We ordered the Grande platter and a happy hour quesadilla. Plenty of food for three ladies to share. The plate included 3 enchiladas, 1 tamale, 1 taco, 1 Chile relleno, guacamole, beans and rice. Top it off with those thin and crispy chips with my...More

The food is top-notch! The staff is friendly and very informed on the menu items. Queso made fresh and from scratch! Best chips in town! Oh, and the margaritas are delicious. We recommend this place to everyone we know.

I was in the area on business. A colleague and I ate dinner there. The food and the service was good, but it was crowded and a bit loud. We were seated next to a large party of 15-20 people. It was hard to have...More

We had a party of 5 for a late lunch. Usually we love going to Abuelo's for their excellent food, but the kitchen seemed to be off that day. Taco salad swimming in liquid, taco very greasy and dishes that just seemed off on taste...More

Love enough that I was willing to wait 45 minutes to be seated. Yes, it's a popular place - and there was also a popular coupon being redeemed that night. I ordered chicken fajita chimichangas, wife ordered enchilada plate, and daughter ordered beef and cheese...More

Real Mexican food is a feast for the senses. From colorful peppers to the sounds of sizzling fajitas all the way to that incredible flavor. Each mouthful is just as much a result of the freshest ingredients as it is a result of the chef's expertise. Abuelo's offers diners the opportunity to experience real Mexican food, combining authentic, made from scratch classic dishes with the rich, subtle flavors of coastal and interior Mexican cuisine. Our executive Chef Luis Sanchez has spent decades perfecting our menu, and we boast a wide selection of wood-grilled fajitas, enchiladas, tacos, chile rellenos or Abuelo's unique House Specialties (depending on your location). To compliment your meal, our expert bartenders are masters at crafting signature favorites, including a wide variety of margaritas and swirls. Whatever the occasion, we'll stop at nothing to make your time at Abuelo's a memorable dining experience.
