Ate there just yesterday and got the mealloaf. The food was great and did not have to wait long. Great atmosphere.

Chicken Fried Steak is fantastic, and the Desserts are to die for. We had a large group and service was fast and waiters were very friendly.
Had a great lunch with friends! Fried Green Tomatoes were fabulous! Fried Catfish - great portion size nice crust. Chicken Fried Chicken was juicy and tender enough to cut with a fork. Chicken Fried Steak was also a hit. Coconut Pie and Lemon pie -...More
I love onion rings, but these were quite tasteless. They looked amazing but had no onion flavor and the batter wasn’t tasty. One of us had the appetizer coconut shrimp for her entree and she said it wasn’t that good. I had a chicken/vegetable stir-fry...More
Dried out grilled chicken. Funny tasting turnip greens. Good rolls and pinto beans. Holes in the plastic tablecloths. Nice enough waiter. My husband liked the chocolate pie. Pork chop just ok. No light, dark, unless sitting by windows.

Yummy food. Great service. Good price. What more can you ask for? Went on a Saturday night and was still able to get a table within 15 minutes. Host was very friendly and helpful.
Food was great, service was OK. The CFS was very good, and while delicious, the peanut butter pie was too rich to finish. Sides were solid, and the biscuits were OUTSTANDING. Definitely worth the detour off of the highway.
Food's decent, staff are normally friendly. Do not go here if you are looking to get in and out. I personally recommend country fried steak and mac and cheese. Their pies are made from scratch, but I'm not a pie person.
