Not what I was expecting

Hello everyone, this is a nice fast food chicken restaurant. I was told it was somewhat similar to canes, but that's far from the truth. This chicken is like the name says it, very slim chicken tenders and you get a slim bread not a Texas Toast slice or two. You would not get an order of coleslaw either with your order. I want to say if you are really hungry the portions are not as much as their nearest competitor. For the amount of chicken you get, I want to say is a bit pricey. Now on the other hand customer service is not at is best yet, they have some employee that seems to be new in the customer service field but I give them a B for effort. The place was somewhat clean but some tables had lots of crumb on them. Other than that it was very nice.

I am a fan of Delta blues music, and it’s nice to see a chicken place with that theme. For a fast-food place this was a pretty good take. Their food was good, and I liked the variety of sauces they offered. The table delivered orders is a definite plus as well.

New Place, Gave It A Try

Just another fast food chicken place. Tenders small and very chewy. Nothing special. Staff was very friendly. Came in for a first try. The deciding factor was fried pie. Still on the menu board, but no longer available. That was a disappointment. It was ok. On an intersection with 8 other fast food restaurants that serve chicken, not my choice.

I normally buy my meals ones every two weeks, I have always had my military discount, but I have never witness poor customer services today 19 dec. the employee was rude and denied military discount, my food hardly had any fries, less than normal and the wings where extra small, where I didn't get any drummettes. It was not worth the money they charge. It is sad to say that my favorite place has become getto and rude, most likely I will take my business somewhere else.

Much like raising canes model, but they missed the boat on service, quality, and price. Paid way too much for a few over cooked chicken fingers. Food way over cooked with really old grease. Totally unimpressed so much that we will not give them a second chance. I have spoke with others and they have said the same thing just avoid this place you'll be totally unhappy if you go there

Good waffles, Not so much the chicken

I went here for their Waffle Wednesday promotion; a good deal for a fresh, hot Texas shaped Belgian waffle. I do like chicken and waffles, but used to wings with this dish. The tenders are too thick, not enough crunch,and somewhat dry in the middle, to go well with the waffle. I ended up trimming off the outer edges, to find that crunch. As far as tenders go, these did not work for me. The waffle was great, the restaurant clean, and the lady who brought my ready order to me, was kind, friendly and helpful. Young man at the front counter could take a lesson from her; smiles and a greeting are good,when dealing with customers(new Kingwood location). Also, they yell your order into the kitchen, which isnt relaxing to anyone. I probably would not visit SC again, but did enjoy my waffle.

Chicken was soft and tasted a bit odd...I definitely will not visit again. Okay on French fries and drinks, but there are far better options than this

Neat lookin place around the corner clean and sufficient

Over priced teenaged wings not big smaller sized style gotta order more to fill up ..that's when price comes in again...they have good sauces. .but prices come back in. On the decision of ordering more to fill everyone up...

Flavor must be extra

Service was good. Went at lunch time on a Wednesday so I won't complain about the amount of time it took to get our order. Longer than it should for a "fast food" restaurant. The one thing I liked about the food was the chicken tenders aren't breaded. Other than that there's nothing to like about it. The Slim's Sauce must have been modeled on Elmer's glue because they taste identical. They seem to be trying to compete with Raising Cane's because all they do is chicken but Slim's forgot one thing. Flavor! I mean it's chicken people. You can basically put anything on it and make it good and you failed. The fries were ok and the toast was just that toasted bread. If they call it Texas toast it's only because it's actually in the state of Texas. I do not recommend this place to anyone unless you're allergic to flavor.

Good food -relaxed place

We visited the day before Mother's Day because the nearby sit down restaurant was too busy. This is a step above fast food but still not a sit down waiter place Food was good but it's all chicken. Fried or grilled - it's chicken. Just know that Very relaxing quiet place with plenty of seating. We liked it.

This is a new establishment in Humble, Texas so my wife and I decided to try it out. The place still smelled new and was very clean. The staff were very pleasant and very helpful. The cleanliness of the place and the excellent customer service were enough reasons to have an appreciation of this place. The chicken choices were tenders, wings, or sandwiches. I can attest the wings and tenders are a good alternative to the other chicken options. The dipping sauces range from very mild to zingy. I did the cayenne ranch dipping sauce and it was excellent. If you are in Humble and looking for an alternative to the usual burgers or chicken this is a good choice.

Nice,New place for a quick lunch

Very nice and clean place. So glad there is something different in the area to eat. The person that took our order was not very friendly tho but the food was good. Prepared fresh !There is not a lot to chose from on there menu but the waffles was VERY GOOD and I loved there Cayenne pepper ranch chicken sandwich! All the chicken plates have a very good flavor and juicy. I do wish they had a bigger variety of sandwiches. (Tip) If you are ordering to go food, make sure you don't wait very long to eat it. It's loses it favor when its cold. Over all good place to have a quick lunch!

New restaurant in Humble TX. I stopped to get a bite for dinner. ( drive thru) The chicken tenders were good, the "mason jar" dessert was neat, an interesting touch. I plan on trying Slim Chickens again in the future.

Everything we had was good. The chicken and waffles were interesting and the chicken salad was good. It was all prepared fresh but pretty quick. The place was really clean, we sat on the patio and it was okay. I will definitely go back.
