This was our first visit to the Goode Company Seafood restaurant and it was a great experience. The food was so delicious. We ordered the redfish platter special with soft shell crab which was so yummy that we had to order extra. The atmosphere at this restaurant is a fun diner style and the service is excellent. Our waiter, Julio,... More

Goode Company is a first-class seafood restaurant with some southern and cajun touches on the menu but it feels a lot like a blue plate diner. There are some really great choices for both fried and grilled seafood and a few signature items like the campechana which defy a description. Sort of like a shrimp cocktail run through a blender... Glad I found this place, being originally from Louisiana in the heart of cajun country I never thought I'd find a place like this outside of my hometown.

We recently visited Houston and the first place we ate was Goode Company Seafood. I watched them set the railroad car on the property over 30 years ago and my wife were weekly customers until we left Houston. We always go with friends who are also fans. I always have the Flounder Poorboy Mesquite Grilled and my wife loves their... More

I had stone crab claws with a civiche type dish. The food was great! I also had many oysters with an excellent vinegret. The atmosphere and service was awesome!

I like this place it has a basic honesty about it, it's not flash, the interior is big and in the main dining area lacking character (may be that's why most people seem to be in the bar area?). BUT the food is good and reasonable prices, the service is very attentive and I note that for families they have... More

What a great experience we had here. I want visiting Houston for business and a colleague and I wanted seafood so we found this gem near the Galleria area and it was awesome. We had great service at the bar and I ordered a cocktail which was larger than expected and tasted great. We ordered the ceviche with shrimp, tasted... More

The restaurant vibe is great - made up like a diner, but has great food with excellent service. My wife, son, and I sat at table for four which had enough room for us (the tables are close together, but not miserably so). Had a special on peel & eat boiled shrimp and some crab cakes for appetizers - all... More

Have been coming here every Friday for shrimp for over a year and never disappointed. However you order it – fried, grilled, creole, it’s always shrimp at its best. Nothing fancy or experimental, just consistently quality seafood - local, plump and fresh, and always perfectly prepared. Sides are good as well, especially the empenadas and seafood rice. Staff always friendly... More
