The service was wonderful here. Very relaxed but professional service. Lovely menu and excellent wine pairing. I loved the bouillabaisse soup. Every meal starts with crispy toast and duck pate- wonderful! Not inexpensive but we will definitely go back!

We took our niece there for her birthday last weekend. It could not have been nicer. We had reserved our table in advance. When we arrived we found that it had been decorated for the event. It was a very thoughtful touch. They had a...More

I took my son (17-years old) for Restaurant Weeks. He really wanted to try Escargot and I saw that it was on their HRW menu. We received 4 pieces of bread total. Two pieces of French bread and two pieces of a raisin bread. The...More

I come to Houston regularly for work and spend most of my time in the Westchase area. A challenge is finding good restaurants for dinner that aren't chains. Despite being in a strip mall on Westheimer, once inside you feel you've found a quiet getaway....More

This place isn't impressive from the outside. Inside is all cozy, quaint farmhouse atmosphere. The staff are all very friendly and attentive. The complimentary bread is very good, especially the raisin bread. The Crème Brulee is wonderfully rich and creamy.

Very good food in a charming atmosphere, very quiet good for conversation, all of us enjoyed our meals. Very attentive and fast service. Highly recommend for fine dining at a reasonable price. Small and Intimate, but well placed tables afford a nice ambience.

Bistro le Cep was sold by Joe Manke, the original owner. Since then, it has gone down hill.As reviewers said, the food is nothing special, it is not French, and the menu is very tired. The spatzle is tasteless and dry. The chicken is dry...More

Seriously doubt that the chef has eve been to France. I can get a better baquette at Trader Joe's across the street! And what is the point of escargots served outside the shell? And not delicately basted with garlic butter but DROWNING in some other...More
