Came on a Friday night and it WASN’T packed. I enjoyed the gumbo and had the grilled salmon. VERY good meal. The waitstaff was VERY attentive and the service was prompt.

The menu items tastes alot better than the buffet breakfast. Unfortunately the menu doesn't offer breakfast items. The buffet omlet station was good but everything else was tasteless and also old and dry (even though we arrived arrived 10 minutes after the restaurant opened) so...More

While I am glad you enjoyed our Caesar salad and service, I wish it was the same story for our buffet. Like our normal menu, you're right to expect our breakfast buffet to be fresh and properly prepared. While we didn't make that impression, Enna,...More

I stumbled upon this cafe, midday Sunday and was warmly welcomed into the Sunday Brunch tradition that it is renowned for. After getting over the selection of foods avaliable, tasting the different dishes brought a new meaning to the phrase 'this is good'. I sat...More

Not sure I was prepared for Baba Yega, some very good, some pathetic. Complimentary valet parking is great. The parking in that area and in the parking lot is a MADHOUSE. Just let them park your car, one less thing, right? Wait time was minimal...More

While I am glad that you enjoyed the food, I am disappointed that wasn't the case for our mimosas. You're right to expect ours to have that pop mimosas are known for, so I'm disappointed that didn't shine through. Did you or the other guest...More

This is one of our absolute favorites in Houston. It's a converted house (possibly more than one) so it has a unique vibe inside and a beautiful courtyard and patio perfect for the rare amazing weather days. Their Sunday brunch is my fave - all...More

The difficult thing about going to Baba's for their buffet brunch is deciding what to eat. From eggs to great burgers, the quality and variety make this one of Houston's go to restaurants.

I revisited steak night at Baba Yega on September 6, 2017, as an excuse to kick off a month of birthday (mine) celebration(s). The steak and potato plus vegetables meal was great. I was pleasantly surprised by the great jazzy/ oldies music (pre recorded) being...More

Call in advance for a group that large. May also order off the menu or plan a special menu. It's a lovely setting but 35 seems a lot extra without major preparation.
