Enjoyed a brunch the day after a wedding in Houston. The food was very good, our table (which was very large, ~25) had a great variety of breakfast and lunch dishes allowing us to taste a wide variety of foods. There really wasn't much that disappointed! The Cubano was excellent, fried plantain very good, and the "smoothies" were excellent. I... More
Started to came here 2007 was great I come here once every 6 months, now so bad food taste so bad I'm thinking not coming anymore. Cheap meat..Table bread so old omg nasty!..flan no taste..Wish they would of keep quality like years ago.
We went for a family lunch, and we got disappointed. Service was really slow. The fried plantains were really good. Lemonade and natural juices were good too. Pork chops were really greasy and not very appealing. The price was really high for the quality of food. If you do not like spicy salad do not order vegetables; it has jalapeños... More
A few years ago I would have given this place a great review. My family and I would go very often since food was pretty decent and fairly authentic. Service was also very good. I actually introduced many cuban friends to this place. During the last couple of years, service has declined and with it, the quality of the food.... More
Had a great time for a Ladies' Night Out. Traditional Cuban fare. Plentiful food with a live band on Friday and Saturday nights. Suggest you make reservations when the band is playing. Just a fun evening!
Stopped in for a quick lunch buffet. The cost was $7.99 and the food was awesome. Not a huge selection of stuff but very tasty. I enjoyed the baked/broasted chicken as well as the shredded chicken with onions. The black beans tasted like Havana! I'm suppose to limit red meat so I only had a taste of the picadillo but... More
We came to this restaurant because we heard good comments about the food. And I guess they were right, the food looked good at the tables around us. At Flor de Cuba you can find any kind of cuban dish, you name it, they have it. Now, service was terrible, extremely poor customer service experience. We sit at our table... More
We have visited Flor de Cuba several times. The Mojitos are consistently great, and good prices during happy hour 4-7pm M-F. They get 4 stars for the Mojitos alone. Spouse always enjoys the oxtail stew, Arroz de Moros y Christianos (white rice with black beans), and the fried plantains. My Pechuga de Pollo a la Plancha, which is grilled like... More
I came here for lunch to have the Cuban sandwich (pork, ham, cheese smothered in garlic butter! Speedy service! Good pastries!
