A typical small town cafe. Good food. Fair prices. Friendly staff. Not a bad place to stop and stretch your legs if you have been traveling awhile

We stopped by The Grill because we had pulled off to see the cross on Interstate 40. What a nice place! It is small, and frequented by the locals. There are grain elevators down the street, and it really made you feel like you were in farm country. True to that theme, the food is home made fresh to order... More

A friendly place with good service and food that looks like what you had hoped for when you ordered, and tastes good. Chicken was a butterflied breast and moist. Ham and cheese sandwich and fries were also very good. Just what we needed for lunch in a pleasant atmosphere.

Home cooked food at its best! This little restaurant is delicious and the atmosphere is comfortable like a diner should be. The waitress was exactly what you want in a home cooked diner! Highly recommend The Grill and worth the time to sit down and have some home cooked food.

We stopped here for lunch while passing through the area. My friend had the hamburger steak and I had the hamburger stuffed with mushrooms and cheese. Both were good. Our waitress was very friendly and very efficient. I'd stop again if in the area.

Excellent food! Great owners and service. My wife and I visited this restaurant in the town where she was born. We had a great breakfast and really enjoyed our visit with the owners who remembered my wife's family. Would recommend this great little place for anyone looking for great food at a great price! We sure enjoyed it!

After visiting the Cross in Groom, we drove the old Route 66 and found this place. From the friendly customer service to the delicious food - you can't go wrong here. We had the stacked enchiladas - just like my father-in-law used to make. Again, well worth the stop before or after you visit the Cross!!

What a great find! They made me a fabulous loaded veggie ("Catholic") omelet that wasn't on the menu. Friendly folks, very clean, great service, so reasonably priced! Geocache friendly.

Stumbled upon after stopping in Groom to see the large cross. Food was very good, nice service, small town environment with friendly patrons. We had chicken fried steak sandwich, green chilly willy burger, and fries. We were thrilled they DON'T use the same grease for fish as everything else (wife has serious fish allergy) so they had an even larger... More

This little diner did not come up on the GPS, the one that did here, along the old route 66 and just off I-40, was a gem. We had a breakfast there and enjoyed much better food than we would have had at the chains. Highly recommend.
