Beef enchiladas, the best I have ever had, services was excellent, a very busy place at times to get into, but worth the short wait

The restaurant looked ok because many cars were there. That is usually an indication of a good small town restaurant. Well the beans and rice were not hot. The enchiladas were bland and had very little meat. To top it off the service was really poor. I recommend you find another stop.

I don't eat here anymore because they aren't open when I get in town and the tortillas are aweful! Not light and fluffy. Burned and greasy.

Passed through George West and got lucky when we found this cafe. Delicious carne guisada tacos and guacamole for a snack, and really enjoyed the chicken fried steak. Our waitress was great, and the kitchen was on top of things. I think we finally found a stopping place between the Valley and Austin.

Doesn't look like much from the outside, but the food was really good. We were driving from Corpus Christi to San Antonio and hit the spot for a quick lunch.

A suggestion on where to eat from the manager of Best Western in George West Texas sent me to a small family owned Mexican cafe named Las Tres Hermanas (The 3 sisters). It was small but clean and by the crowd pretty popular for a little town. Elsa, one of the sisters took my order of fajitas (I'm allergic to... More
