The prices shown here are MUCH lower than they are in the restaurant. We had planned and once we got there, we were shell shocked. At least $4 more per plate and drinks were 4 each. The value isn’t there and we didn’t have the...More

We stopped here for a late breakfast after disembarking from our cruise. There was quite a crowd also waiting for tables, but the wait time was reasonable, so we were happy to. The food was very good and portions large. The prices were a little...More

Love Sunflower Bakery. Tomato basil soup and chicken salad are delicious. Husband loves the Cuban! We visit Sunflower every time we're in Galveston.

We visit Galveston year-round but rarely do we get the opportunity to take in the local spots. My husband planned an overnight stay for us and being mother's day, it was my choice as to our meal choices. This was my top pick for breakfast...More

We never try to visit the same place twice in the same trip but Sunflower was the exception. It’s a Tuesday morning and you’re offered a mimosa. How civilized! Every day should start this way. From the oysters Benedict to crab cakes and eggs, challah...More

Get here early. Gets crowded quickly. Very popular with the local crowd. Table was dirty as we were sat. Food is good. Servers were polite. Prices elevated due to island location.

Probably before 9:00AM. I was there on a Monday in October so it wasn't that crowded.

I think that Sunflower will customize a cake, if by that you mean decorating one for a special occasion. Pattycakes, a couple of blocks away and also on 14th Street, does customized cakes. Both bakeries are good.
