The crab cheesecake is awesome. Sounds like a weird combo but this is an appetizer not a desert. We have tried to replicate this at home without any luck. Best wine list in town with fair prices, the service is always top notch too.T

Pricey but worth it. Great food and wait staff. Good views of beach. Good menu. Great seafood. Reservations is a good idea.

The food was BAD - and I'm being very kind in my review... (1st time I've ever felt the need to submit a review). Completely unacceptable for a $180 lunch for a party of 4. - soft shell crab , terrible - fried seafood platter, mediocre/poor - Greek salad w/ grilled shrimp, decent

It had probably been 25 yrs since last visit, and I wish I had waited longer. How do you burn fried shrimp? The catfish was flatter than a flounder and dry as talcum powder. And if you mention their fried oysters in the same breath as edible, you due a disservice to " breath." I watched a waitress who had... More

All of our food was delicious! We had the crab stuffed shrimp, golden tile special, and charcoal grilled oysters. Our server, Arthur, was awesome! He was so helpful and knowledgeable about food and wine choices. He was very friendly and provided excellent service. We will definitely come back on our next visit to Galveston!

Outstanding service from our waiter Keith. Great food as always. Wife & I had the soft shelled crabs & pan grilled salmon. This is favorite place when we manage to get down to Galveston from Houston. Great view of the gulf and a friendly environment.

We are usually in Galveston over Thanksgiving weekend, and when we get off work on Black Friday, we head to Gaido's. We like all the fresh and tasty seafood ... But on the day after Thanksgiving, they make their leftover turkey into turkey soup (just like the rest of us!) -- and it is so good! It reminds me of... More

Upscale seafood restaurant with a long history. Excellent fresh choices with healthy side choices. Excellent service with a slower, elegant style. Plan to spend some time.

The toast of the Texas coast. How can frozen fish be called fresh? The answer for anyone with snap is simple: it can't. That's why Gaido's is the classic choice for fresh Gulf seafood. Patrons know Gaido's is real, when others are clearly not. From red snapper and blue crab to white tablecloths crumbed with panache, there's no denying Gaido's is one-of-a-kind in a world of imitation. Now, after four generations of filleting, frying, grilling and baking, Gaido's has grown into the picture perfect place of traditions- birthdays, anniversaries, retirements, reunions. As the largest fresh fish house on the coast, Gaido's can serve up to 2,500 happy diners a day. -- for over 100 years - is truly the coastal classic.
