Great food, great atmosphere and terrific service. Entrees are huge so go hungry. We were early but it filled up quickly and the mariachis were fun.

This is the best Mexican restaurant on the island. I've had lunch there several times and i always had Sergio as our waiter. Always gives the best service, his food recommendations are always the best. You should try fried ice cream, it's something to die for.

We were seated immediately and served chips and 2 kinds of salsa, which were delicious. Our server, Denise, was great. Friendly and willing to answer our questions. My husband had the shrimp fajitas, which were awesome and plentiful. I had the cheese enchiladas and they were good, but, not the best I have had. I had to add some salsa... More

This was our 2nd time to visit Salsa's in Galveston; unlike our first time we found the atmosphere drab and unwelcoming. This began with the hostess. There were two - the younger one smiled and carried on pleasantries with guests. We had the older lady - she never smiled nor made eye contact. She grunted and nodded her head so... More

The quesadillas and burrito were great. The salsa had great flavor, but it was way too spicy for most people. The water was really warm, and our waiter wasn't the greatest. But we'll probably be back again!

I'm confident your service will match the excellent food on your next visit, and I'll be sure to address this with our staff. That said, I'm glad your quesadillas and burrito were such a hit, and we look forward to welcoming you back again! Thanks so much for your feedback. Best, Frank, Owner More

Stopped in at Salsa's for some Mexican food -- TexMex. Being a native Texan, TexMex is is not hard. Salas's is ok. Fair, not horrible, but nothing to write home about. It appears to be popular both with locals and tourists alike. My husband and I are a hybrid of the two. We live in Houston and Galveston is our... More

Very sorry, Cindy, that you were not satisfied with the price of your Margarita. Our Jumbo Margaritas are twice as large as our regular Margaritas, so they cost twice as much and it is a up charge if you want Patron Tequila. They are often shared between two people. We understand that it can be frustrating to spend more than... More

The food was excellent. Our waitress, Sarah, was very good. Enchiladas was delicious. Chips and salsa were served immediately after we sat down.

Not sure why we were looked over but service was awful. Wife had to ask for a drink. Had to ask for more salsa. Had to ask twice for more chips. Waiter was more interested in the girls next to us. Won't be back.

Opened in January 1998 by Jorge and Antonio Oyervides and a friend, Frank Diaz, Salsas Mexican & Seafood Restaurant is their first restaurant, though the three have been in the restaurant business for more than 24 years. We invite you to savor your favorite dish and enjoy our frothy, refreshing margaritas. Happy Hour is Monday thru Friday from 3pm to 7pm. Salsas offers a daily Lunch Special from 11am to 3pm Monday thru Friday. Pickup orders are welcomed; simply call ahead. We look forward to serving your entire family!Salsa's Mexican Restaurant offers a breathtaking Gulf view from our enormous outdoor patio, and beautiful sunshine.
