Good place to sample craft beer since they sell sample size glasses of beer. My husband loved the dark one, called Pioneer something, said it was the best beer he had in Fredericksburg all weekend. I on the other hand was looking to sample some...More

There is tasting samples available for the 5 beers at $1.50 each. I guess we should have tried the German food, because the club sandwich was terrible - bacon almost raw and some slices of bread burned and other slices not toasted at all. The...More

Dropped in for lunch on a Sunday afternoon. Had their beer which was good. Ordered the Reuben which was very good. Server was not friendly and looked like he just got out of bed. Enjoyed our drink and meal. Could have been great with decent...More

This is a nice restaurant and bar in the center of town. They carry a wide variety of beers and serve a combination of foods. I go there for the German food. It has a unique atmosphere in a historic town.

If you love German food and micro brewery beer, you must include a visit to this establishment located in the downtown area. We both ordered the Uberbachen Schnine Schnitzel which was one of the best German dishes we’ve ever eaten in America. You can also...More

Simply a brewery with a menu. Server was very helpful. Beer not as refined as I would expected in a microbrewery.

Stopped in for beers and dinner. Extended wait at host table while he handled phone calls, until another staff member came by and seated us. The beers were well brewed and refreshing. The food was good but not very good. The waitress, bless her heart,...More

Great place to relax on a hot day with a cold beer. Also tried a local area wine and it was pretty good too! My salad was tasty and hubbie’s Reuben was very good too. No peach pie! Bummer!

We stumbled in here along with just about every other tourist in town because it was the only decent place open for dinner on this particular day. It was packed. And understaffed. But the menu had good variety at reasonable prices. Our server was a...More
