They have a terrific happy hour menu that has grown since our last visit. We had the lollipop lamb chops - what a treat. Also the oysters over tenderloin with bleu cheese which was divine - my husband doesn't really like bleu but agreed that it made the dish. Well crafted cocktails, great service and chatted with fun other patrons... More

I called over a week in advance for a reservation and requested seating in a non high traffic area. I was told they are "very busy" and did I have a special occasion. I said it was my birthday. She then said I could have a booth...that rubbed me the wrong way a bit. It was like we couldn't have... More

No one likes to feel forgotten. We apologize our service was less than exceptional during your visit - especially given the specialness of the evening. Having you comfortably seated and provided attentive, personalized service is what we strive for with every guest. We also regrettable missing the chance to replace our truffle mac and cheese with something you and your... More

My friends eat here frequently and they said it can be hit or miss. This evening was a hit. I had a dozen oysters served with three sauces...a cocktail sauce, super hot horseradish and a classic French mignonette. They were plump and briny, delicious. As entrees we had the tuna tempura wit bok choy, the red fish encrusted in dried... More

Perfect. We have been to Eddie V's many times over the years, and enjoy it as our "special occasion" place. Tonight we went for our 30th Anniversary dinner. Everyone, from the hostess Gracie, to our waitress Amber, to the Manager Michael, were friendly, and made sure to acknowledge our special event. The card signed by the staff, and the flower... More

We have eaten here many times for special occasions, food and service never have disappointed. We have absolutely no complaints. The seafood and steaks are equally 1st rate. The service is beyond compare.

Our plan was have dinner here, but we found the bar area so comfortable and fun, we never made it to the main dinning room! We enjoyed several delicious appetizers (lamb lollipops, calamari, oysters) and great drinks while listening to the live jazz music provided by a talented group. Service was friendly and prompt both at the bar and at... More

After a music and art evening at the Kimbell, we went across the street to Eddie V's. We went without reservations but could be immediately seated in the bar. A trio played Jazz, the crab cake was outstanding, and the Bananas Foster would have been worth the trip by itself. We will be back!

This was a group of seven people and we stayed in the bar area for drinks, appetizers and to listen to the jazz music. The jumbo lump crab cakes were wonderful as well as the Lobster tacos. This a a good place to kick back relax and enjoy friends in a very upscale setting.
