Had dinner there in a private room with 11 professional associates. We sat an enormous table in a room that was decorated with a lot of interesting articles, pictures and artifacts from the history of fort worth. The menu has many unique offerings like Elk sausage, Calf Fries and other 'wild west' items. For those less adventurous, there is plenty... More

We heard the hype and were anxious to try the Renata. My wife and I both had the ribeye. Neither were cooked as we requested. The potatoes were cold, the bacon wrapped asparagus was also cold. The jalapeño, cheese grits were the most tasty item. The entire meal had a sense of trying to be unique with different flavors but... More

The food was not memorable, but I remember members of our group saying that we would choose another restaurant the next time.

In Dallas for an overnight with colleagues, we traveled to Fort Worth for the 20th anniversary of the Four Day Weekend improv troupe. They were awesome...but this review is for Reata, a surprise oasis (to me at least) in the middle of downtown Fort Worth. We had some time to kill before the show and were looking for a fun... More

Nice couples dinner on a weekend night. Service was great and the food was pretty good. Special cocktails were tasty. Appetizer was ok.....probably wouldn't get the tamales again. Dinner portions were huge and pretty good. The tenderloin was a great cut of meat and great flavor. The default sides were an after thought.....I would ask for substitutions next time. The... More

If you are planning to eat here make a reservation! We called ahead and got same say reservations for 6 but if it's a special occasion or during the holidays you might plan a bit ahead. The seating is very nice- not overly crowded in. That's so nice to not worry about bumping into others. Service is outstanding! The menu... More

I enjoyed the experience and the meal(I had the redfish) and since I no longer live in Texas, I enjoyed the atmosphere...boots and saddles, waitresses in black yoked western dress shirts. Definitely a place to take visiting friends and relatives. It is located in Sundance Square, another tourist must-see, and close to the Bass Performance Hall.

I ordered the carne asada with the cheese enchilada on top and it was the best thing I have ever tasted. The cocktails were spot on as well. I will make it a point of destination any time I go to Sundance square
