One could write this off to bad luck. I am afraid that is not the case. A little over a year ago, I dined at Shinjuku Station and had a bad experience. I wrote it up, and a manager replied it was due to the...More

The atmosphere is nice and it is a small venue. Wait staff was very good and service above average reason for 3 rather than 2. This is a loud place. Food is good but overpriced and small portions. It is different and interesting but others...More

Went on a Wednesday evening. Food was OK but overpriced. The problem was twofold - first we didn't appreciate the condescending waiter with the gray man-bun. Second, if I wanted to be surrounded by flies in my food, I'd go on a picnic!

Took my husband here for his birthday and he loved it. The plates are smaller and make it easy to try lots of different dishes.

Beef donburi (gyudon) is too salty to even eat. They used too much soy sauce, which ruined everything. I had Karaage and they were very good. So, I would not say that every dish is bad but this beef donburi was terrible. Japanese gyudon is...More

Most recent visit was on a Monday night just at opening and the place was deserted. I initially thought it was defunct because they do nothing with the courtyard through which you enter and it looks quite unkempt. But by the time we left, the...More

Thank you for the feedback and sharing your dining experience with us. I would agree with you on the courtyard ambiance. With the construction occurring around our building, the landlord has held off on the landscaping so it doesn't get destroyed during construction. As far...More

I got a couple of sushi rolls, but people told me I need to go back for the other meals. I had a Spider roll that was great, but the eel sauce was REALLY sweet, and a Surf and Turf roll. I was a little...More

I liked how everything on the menu is for sharing. It's a nice way to try a little bit of everything! Our party of 5 ordered so many items that I lost track: rolls, sashimi, snack items! It definitely satisfied my Japanese food craving!

I seldom do reviews on restaurants but this place is awesome. The food is great and so is the service. I have been there numerous times for both lunches and dinners. The owner, manager, waiter/waitress are always cheerful and helpful even though they are busy....More
