The food was great! One of us had the best chicken fried steak ever. The other had their signature salad with Cajun seasoning and homemade taco shell. If we were going to be back in the area, we'd definitely be coming back.

We had the small breakfast for 5.99. Right up our alley for seniors on a budget. Food and coffee were lukewarm. Mediocre food but worked for us. Clean and good service.

We went to this restaurant while traveling though Fort Stockton. Maybe we order wrong, but it was not at all good food. The service was good but the food needs help. We did not go again while passing through. This is a family restaurant and kinda old and funky. But, the locals may like it well enough. There are not... More

This was quite possibly the worst restaurant of our trip! The food was just not good. It was bland and served without much fanfare. My teenager would not even eat his chicken strips that were overcooked and rubbery. We ordered an assortment of food, so I'm not sure that any of the dishes are good. Another downside that we didn't... More

Stopped here for breakfast as we were driving through Texas. Good-sized menu. We had the simple breakfasts, texas-sized combos and a chicken and waffle combo. Everyone enjoyed their breakfast -- all plates came out as ordered. Waitresses were friendly and prompt to refill coffee. Would stop here again.

I went to this diner based upon the many positive reviews. The best thing going for this diner is that it serves breakfast at any time that it is open. That said, the scrambled eggs came out overcooked, despite being ordered soft set. The pancakes were not good. They tasted like a very cheap vanilla cake mix from a box.... More

Oh man! This was a live one. Ordered. They were out of one of the steaks. This is Texas. This is Fort Stockton, TX. Oil and steak country. Then, the food took 30 minutes. Apparently, our ticket had "fallen between the counter and the cooler". They also "had a new system that was causing them trouble". Maybe the "dog also... More

Got recommendation from hotel. Good choice. All the food was good. I had a special request on my meal. Not only did the cook come out to confirm my order, but also came out after served to be sure it was right. The water does need lemon, but a local had informed us.

Thank triplynnell
