Salum is like that kid you know down the street who has so much going for him but them makes a dumb decision or two that just makes you want to spank him. That's the kind of experience we had there Saturday night. Dinner for 4, special occasion. Endured, ONCE AGAIN, the tired Dallas trope of being led to one... More

One of the top restaurants anywhere. Yes it's top shelf, but ALL the preparations are top shelf. Abraham still over sees everything and waits tables greets guest, serves drink s. Do your self a treat. Visit this place.. Often!

Salum is one of our very favorite restaurants in Dallas. The menu changes monthly, so it is always fun to go back and try new things. The restaurant is beautiful and chic ..... kind of a Four Seasons vibe. We are very comfortable at Salum. The main reason we keep returning is the way the owner/chef Abraham Salum and his... More

First of all, the service was outstanding; our young waiter was exceptional, friendly, attentive and knowledgeable; I wish I found more like him at every restaurant at which I dined. The other staff were also friendly and courteous. While the food was good/average (and that is what three stars means after all), it was not memorable, except for the prices... More

Small, yet very comfortable establishment. Stylish. Started the dinner with the appetizer portion of the mussels, with the most incredible fries on top. Beyond fantastic. Dinner was the drum fish for me with charred okra and a tomato "gravy". Absolutely wonderful. My dinner companion had the scallops, which were not shared with me. She saved them for herself. I passed... More

I've been to Salum 4-5 times and the first word that comes to mind to describe it is "consistent". The menu is "New American" and always seasonally appropriate. On this visit, we had the Mussels, House Salad and Caprese Salad and the Pumpkin Ravioli. The food was fresh, crisp, savory and very good. I found the Ravioli innovative and very... More

Abraham Salum has been turning out fabulously prepared and beautifully presented since the day he opened. There is a great local following and for good reason. I think this is some of the best food in the city. The dining room is beautifully decorated with subtle luxury, the wine list is interesting and not stupidly overpriced, the staff is well... More

I'm not sure how we chose this restaurant but glad we did. Food was fresh and tasty and staff was very helpful with choices and menu descriptions.

We went to Salum during restaurant week and enjoyed a superb 3-course dinner. We ordered the Texas goat cheese, which was a delicious combination of soft cheese, olive oil, garlic, and crisp toasts that was rich and out of this world. I ordered trout, and it is hard to overstate how much it melts in the mouth! Served covered in... More

the owner is wonderful, the cream cheese stuffed Okra-OVER. THE. TOP. Tenderloin was beautifully seasoned and plated. My first dirty martini was amazing, the second one doesn't ever go down as smooth. Bread Pudding - DONT MISS IT
