Presentation & taste of food was excellent. Generous portions. Only a few other customers there, but service staff just couldn't get it together. Too long a wait to take order. After flagging down our waitress that we were finished, it took 3 trips to get...More

This was our first stop on a food tour, and I had to keep myself from eating too much since we had 4 more stops to make! We had appetizers and margaritas. The Jarochitas (Mexican egg rolls - with chicken, cheeses and spinach) were delicious...More

We came here on a Sunday night for dinner. This is a great location in the Bishop Arts District in a historic building. Although we were seated immediately, it took a good while to get served and even longer to get our food - over...More

The atmosphere is beautiful from the moment you walk in. The hostess was pleasant and attentive. Our service was impeccable. We had several margarita flavors. Frozen mango was DIVINE! The Queso fondido with chorizo was amazing. I will return again and again.

Very authentic Mexican food! We will come back. Service was quick. Atmosphere was very casual which is typical for most Mexican Restaurants.

I've lived in Texas and New Mexico for most of my life. I've eaten more than my share of Mexican food in those years, but I'm not sure I've ever had it prepared quite this well. The flavor combinations were fresh and sophisticated without being...More

In the Bishop Arts district, you expect something a little different. It could be the character of the district itself, or the cultural differences that you find in the food and shops in the area. This was our first visit to Veracruz and it was...More

I must admit, I'm slow to try new Mexican places in this city, as I've got my favorites and well... I'm stubborn. Needless to say, I'm glad I ventured down to Veracruz because I've never had blue corn enchiladas like these. They were divine. I...More

I would say that if you skip chips and wrapped food, you should be able to go gluten free. We had a beefsteak with black beans and fried plantains that was yummy.
