We were looking for some creative Mexican food; something other that traditional rice and beans. This is the place. The decor is very clean and inviting. The wait staff is first class and very helpful. We shared a pork belly mole tortilla appetizer that was awesome. I had a Mexican type risotto with seafood and my wife had Oaxaca cheese... More

What a great place, plenty of outdoor seating and a menu that will excite your taste buds, start with brisket nacho's or tortilla soup, both superb. The ceviche was delicious. Friendly staff, solid margarita's and great food make Komali a new must go to place if you're near West Village and Uptown

We just ate brunch here and had a really great dining experience. The restaurant is quite nice inside with modern decor and very clean lines. Our server was really attentive and personable (thank you, Fany). The brunch drink specials were very good and priced incredibly low - $1 Peach Bellinis and $3 Mimosas. That is hard to beat! We started... More

Took wife here for birthday. Thought their special margarita was the best I've had. The menu is unique and the service was outstanding. Great experience. Look forward to coming back.

We went here for the first time for dinner on New Year's Eve. Everything was great - the food, drinks, and the staff were all wonderful. The atmosphere is cute and better than expected for the small strip center it's located in. Don't miss the churros with chocolate milk for dessert.

My husband and I flew to Dallas for a long weekend and chose Komali for a romantic dinner. What a great choice! The food was wonderful, the tamarind margaritas were delicious, and the service was outstanding. We started with a few appetizers and then shared both the grilled romaine Caesar salad and the Chile Nogada. It was the perfect amount... More

Came in to Komali's for a work event and loved everything. Margaritas were fantastic- not too sweet at all. We also had a variety of the food offerings. Chips and salsa were great, which is what we typically initially judge our Mexican restaurants on (who doesn't if you love great Mexican food?!?). Chips were a bit thicker but super fresh... More

We were a group of 12.... no one else in the restaurant except a private party on the other side. The food was bland and mediocre. It took over 30 minutes to get menus, chips and salsa. Eventually the manager became our waiter. Will not be back.. sorry

Upscale spot. Sophisticated Mexican Brunch with excellent berry infused Sangria. The Eggs Benedict with spinach was delicious. The chocolate flan dessert was more on the cake side but very good none the less. There's a variety of fruit infused liquor mostly for Maggie's which is a treat.

Tried the "new" Komali for first time since new owners took over some time ago. Upgraded menu is superior to previous, as was the food itself. Beautifully plated, as well. Staff is very welcoming and professional. Waiter answered all questions easily without having to say, "Let me check." All patrons - and place was very busy - had smiles on... More
