The setting is really nice so first impression is great. Menu looks authentic and interesting. Sushi is ok but expensive for what you get. Ramen, unfortunately, is a big disappointment. Japanese ramen is so yummy, the ramen here feels and tastes a bit prepackaged ready made. There is no depth to the flavor and the toppings are uninspiring. Very disappointing.... More

A pretty restaurant with a friendly and very professional staff. Food comes quickly and is the freshest of the fresh. Won't find a lot of funky sushi roll choices, just the freshest fish of the day. However, creative cuisine too, pasta and noodle dishes using spare ribs, flavorful rice. Spa like music conducive to a relaxing meal experience. Easy in... More

Loved the Tempura at this place, the perfect way to get things started, then my husband and I shared some Wagyu beef that literally melted in the mouth. Great noodles served very fresh. I consider myself a noodle snob and were great noodles.

Came in for a late lunch with 4 friends and had a wonderful experience!!! Tried new things I had never tried, ate some of the freshest Sushi I can remember and some of the most unique offerings I had ever seen. The team serving us was knowledgeable, helpful, and very aware of various prep styles and options! Loved it! Can't... More

If you are looking for a good quality sashimi, this is the place... they are actually known from their soba. I had a omakase style (7 courses) which features their popular dishes. The white seaweed was the started, followed by 5 kinds of fish sashimi. The salmon melts in your mouth.. all fishes were very fresh. Then the wagyu beef... More

Loved visit. Visited with a client based out of London. Tried several things I had not before, including Japanese whiskey (compared very well w/ the Bourbon I usually drink), saki (not what I was expecting, very nice), sea urchin, and braised cow tongue. Everything we had was excellent. The surroundings were very nice and relaxing as well. We both enjoyed... More

Master Chef-owner Teiichi Sakurai' offers some inspirational Japanese cuisine in Dallas in a refined contemporary space with Zen-like feutré atmosphère. Tei An's mirrored glass façade in One Arts Plaza is a great location easy for parking! The calming interior is filled with Japanese shoji-screened, sliding glass doors, and a Rock Fontaine with relaxing water. Getting in is not always easy.... More

Highly recommended restaurant! Very nice small restaurant with friendly and caring staff. Food is delicious! I recommend to try cooked food, not only raw fish. I never eaten white seaweed before, I even don't remember if I saw it in other restaurant menu. Try it with a glass of Sauvignon blanc! Soba bolognese was delicious! Bon appetite!

Went for my birthday as we had heard it was one of the best sushi restaurants in Dallas. It didn't let us down. I eat sushi a lot. I have had it all over the country. It's not the best sushi I have ever had but it is easily the best I have had in the DFW area since moving... More

It's my fift time in this sushi restaurant. I love sushi and it's not so easy eating top quality and so fresh Sushi as it is here at Tei An. Salmon was awesome, soft as butter and extremely flavoured. Shrimps were really fresh and fantastic. Tempura is awesome. Really nice location and top service.

Thank Andrea M
