Lovely spot overlooking the beach. Menu is very limited, found something to suit, but asked for wrap instead of bread. That was too difficult, so ended up with a few rocket leaves and sprouts with nice aioli, and a piece of very dry ?chicken. And...they omitted the chips along with the bread. For the price it was very poor food. They served dessert and coffee before the mains ??? Why? Service is slow, but it's a busy little cafe. Not sure about the iced latte. Not much coffee, just milk and ice.More
Nice little cafe on the beach. Service was great. A lot of tables to choose from
Overlooking kings beach. The food was average hence 3 star rating. Our bara tacos were lacking seasoning and flavour and our mushroom risotto was a very small serving for...the price.More
Took the wife and kids for Valentine’s Day breakfast. We booked a table and as it was starting to rain they secured us a spot out of the rain because we took the time to book in advance. We had kids pancakes, eggs Benny, bacon...and eggs along with coffee. I could not fault the food or service. We will be back.More
We travelled to Caloundra for a few days rest and found ourselves having breakfast at the same place every day. We ate something different every morning and loved it. Great food, Great coffee, Great service and not a bad view.
Beach side breakfast, food and coffee was great!
Ladies Eggs Benny was amazing! When you don't want a massive brekkie, this was the perfect size & the homemade hollandaise was to die for!
The Acai bowl is fresh, super tasty, with the best veganola on...the planet!
And the service was great too! Super quick to get us to a table. And food came out relatively quick, though the acai bowl was a little slow to come out, but that should be expected with the type of preparation required. Makes me wish I lived on the coast!More
It seems to be that cafes today serve toasted breads that are dry, unbuttered and tough to cut and chew. Terrible really, as though they are just stale. My eggs Benny were hard poached eggs, Muffins that took at least five vigourous back and forth...motions with the knife to cut through, however the haloumi (an extra) was excelent. My wife complained also of hard poached eggs, over cooked bacon, stale/dry toast, and cold mushrooms. Very friendly staff, and a nice place to sit for breakfast, but the chef needs to improve things a fair bit.More
Yes there is plenty of room outside and I am sure if you ring the cafe (5438 1773) they would be happy to accommodate any special requests that u have. There is also a disabled car park adjacent to the cafe.
