We love Abuelo's because it is a calm and fairly quiet environment. Being of the older generation, we seek out restaurants that are conducive to conversations. Bonus here is great food and wonderful service. The pork tenderloin is fantastic. Great Sangria.

My wife and I decided to have a nice dinner out and visited Abel's for the first time in awhile. It was a wonderful evening. Our server, Jarrett was on top of everything, and provided excellent service, courtesy, and made great recommendations. On top of that, one of the managers spent a good deal of time visiting us to ensure... More

Abuelo's is a very nice place to have a south of the border experience. We sat at the bar when we visited. The spicy shrimp tacos were some of the best I have ever had. The margaritas are also great. I encourage you to visit for dinner and have a great time. The price is a bit high, but worth... More

This is Tex Mex food, folks. It is fat-filled and salty. It's supposed to be that way. It is comfort food par excellence. I have read some reviews of this restaurant and the reviewers seemed disappointed they did not have what is sometimes referred to as a "fine dining" experience. My wife and I ate here a few nights ago... More

Saturday we had lunch at Abuelo's. The chips, three sauces and guacamole were very good. My husband's salmon was fine but my bacon wrapped pork tenderloin portions (three) were so dry and overdone and of such a solid consistency as well as tasteless, that I left the second two. The meal came with two enchiladas which were good and cheesy... More

Thank you for the positive feedback! I'm so sorry to hear about your pork tenderloins. Did you let your server know about this? We want to make sure that all guests are satisfied, and I'm sorry this was not the case. We would love for you to give us another try. Hope to see you soon, Jackie Littlefield, GM More

Delicious food and plenty of it. Located near the campus of Texas A&M in College Station, TX. Interior decorated in Mexican Hacienda style. Bar area with tables and televisions an added bonus.

This was my first time coming here and I was glad I did. They had a goid variety of dishes in the menu and they prepared our order with some changes. The food was delicious including the chips and salsa variety which was served befire dinner. Desert was amazing and helped cool the palate. The atmosphere is nice and pleasant.... More

The thing about Abuelo's is that no matter what city you are in their food is always consistently good. The burrito grande on the lunch menu is too big for one sitting (and this from a man who never does take home leftovers!). The multiple salsas with chips is also a nice touch. Not a local, but still worthy of... More

From the server to dessert everything was awesome. Food was delicioso!!! Our food was served hot & in a timely manner. I tried the spinach enchiladas & I'm so glad I did, they were fantastic. Description
Real Mexican food is a feast for the senses. From colorful peppers to the sounds of sizzling fajitas all the way to that incredible flavor. Each mouthful is just as much a result of the freshest ingredients as it is a result of the chef's expertise. Abuelo's offers diners the opportunity to experience real Mexican food, combining authentic, made from scratch classic dishes with the rich, subtle flavors of coastal and interior Mexican cuisine. Our executive Chef Luis Sanchez has spent decades perfecting our menu, and we boast a wide selection of wood-grilled fajitas, enchiladas, tacos, chile rellenos or Abuelo's unique House Specialties (depending on your location). To compliment your meal, our expert bartenders are masters at crafting signature favorites, including a wide variety of margaritas and swirls. Whatever the occasion, we'll stop at nothing to make your time at Abuelo's a memorable dining experience.
