After a day of boat drinking we stopped in for dinner and we were pleasantly surprised. To start, the staff was very friendly and accommodating. We all ordered the seafood platter and stuffed ourselves silly with fried goodness. The portions are pretty big so prepare for some leftovers.

My wife and I had dinner in this restaurant and were looking for some fresh seafood. We asked the server what fish was fresh and was told that they had 2 fresh flounder remaining so we ordered one each, to be grilled. Unfortunately, both fish were blackened and it was difficult to taste the actual fish. Not much else on... More

Great place for inexpensive lunch. Icehouse type building with tons of local historic photos on the walls. The lunch specials are delicious and filling!

This is a Quaint local dive full of miserably delicious food. Large portion sizes will linger for meals to come. The shrimp slaw is amazing. You can actually see the shrimp in it.

I've lived down here for 25 years and will not go to the Boardwalk for overpriced, cookie cutter, frozen food seafood menu when we can come straight from the boat and get down home fresh seafood that is consistently good. My parents love to go because these portions are straight out of the 1960s before bread , butter, and fried... More

Came in here for a quick seafood lunch. My wife and I both ordered shrimp tacos. Assuming these would be fresh Galveston bay size shrimp but they were un-flavorful frozen tiny popcorn size from a bag. There black beans were very bland and the dirty rice was not Cajun. Kids burgers were ok. Disappointed!!! Probably not be back..

The reviews we read made this place seem like a great seafood restaurant, but upon arrival, the outside appearance made us think this is not what we were wanting. However, we decided to go in a check it out and we were not disappointed with our decision. The food was great and plentiful. We would certainly come back when visiting... More

We've been to Joe Lee's quite a number of times. It's a great place to get fried seafood, and other seafood selections. It has the "down-home" atmosphere. The food has always been good when we were there.

The wife and I were having too much fun in the pool and forgot to make dinner. This gem is just minutes from out apartment so we gave it a shot. NOT a disappointment. This place is great.

I like the fish & shrimp here. The price is very economical too. Quick service but no table service.
