The service was slow and sloppy. The food was too hot for a spice lover. I ordered Mongolian Stir fry which is a spicy dish. However, when half the plate is jalapeño peppers it is rendered inedible. I also had the fried rice which was covered in black pepper. I ordered jasmine tea and was brought one cup of lukewarm water... More

In all honesty, the wait for the Imperial Taproom the evening of was atrocious; therefore, me and friends crossed the square downtown to this interesting restaurant/bar combo. I say "combo", because when you walk in, to your left is the restaurant and straight ahead is its full bar with stools and high-rise tables. With that set-up, where to begin? It's... More

This is a great restaurant on the square in Canyon. It seems newer or recently renovated. Four of us had dinner and all enjoyed the tasty offerings. I particularly like Chinese American style food and felt this was some of the best I have ever tasted. No MSG hangover will be had by eating here.

The only issue with this restaurant is sometimes the service is slow. Other than that.... the food is amazing and if you don't mind waiting from time to time, you'll love it!!!

Best fried rice anywhere! Mega menu choices. Large portions cooked to perfection. Sweet little 6-yr-old host showed us to our seats. Highly recommend!!!

Was more than pleased and surprised by this amazing place. Wife and I were taken back by the atmosphere and servings. Will make this a regular stop I Canyon. If you have not tried this phenomenal restaurant, you are missing out. More than recommend.

Nice, sparklingly clean Thai restaurant on the town square in Canyon. Above average food. Good service. Full bar. Very reasonable prices. Menu has non asian choices and is really more pan asian than strictly Thai.

Who would have thought!? We live in Asia and love Thai food. Imagine our surprise when we saw the great reviews and gave it a try. Not perfect, but really good and a pleasant treat in the Panhandle while driving through on a X-country trip.

We had a steak and two Thai dishes and they were all delicious! Our granddaughter (9), decided that she likes fried rice for the first time here. They had some good beers on tap, and several more in bottles and cans, as well as a wine list. I was pleasantly surprised to find this quality food on our little jaunt... More

I have been to Sayakomarn a number of times, personally as well as for business meetings. The food has always been good. The ambience of the whole place is casual, but refined. I think it is one of Canyon's. little hidden treasures!! Try it out yourself and see what you think!

Thank Ramona B
