We were tired from driving all day. It was nice to walk across the parking lot to this nice homey restaurant. My husband ordered the chicken fried steak which he said was truly the Best he has ever had. I ordered the grilled pork chops. Thin chops a little dry, but still good flavor. Nice little salad bar.

Good, good food. Country cooking that is favored by the locals. I like to see people calling themselve by name, quite homey. I had the chicken fried steak. Very good. Not greasy. Services is friendly end prices are fair. No deserts were available during my visit.

Stop here on my way thru Buffalo on a Monday morning. Ordered the eggs, bacon, hash brown potatoes and biscuits . Bacon was great, eggs had shells and biscuits were OK., Hash potatoes were OK but i would have preferred home fries. Next time i will drive to the next town and try another restaurant for breakfast.

Great food and service but the smoking section was a turn off. First thing you smell when you walk in. We sat on the opposite end and it was ok.

We had an excellent experience at Anthony's. My wife had the CFS which was large and tasty. I had the Hamburger Steak, with onions on top. Green beans and fries were my sides and they were good, the beans were excellent. Okra and mash for my wife, the cream gravy was good also. Service was excellent.

Late evening stop for a burger and a drink. Nice big, juicy burger with all the fixins. I added sweet potato fries to my order, they were excellent with Ranch dressing, just the right amount of crunch on the outside of the fries. Nice big glass of sweet tea to top it off. Good local restaurant with good prices and... More

We traverse central Texas quite often for family trips. Options can be limited, especially between Corsicana and Madisonville, so we gave this place a shot. Not bad. One big minus was the smoking section. The smell sure drifts into the non-smoking dining room, so beware. But the service is friendly. It is clean, if not fancy. And there is a... More

This restaurant is the meeting place for the locals for the Sunday buffet. Home cooked meals include chicken fried steak, mashed potatoes, greens and black-eyed peas. Best cornbread muffins around. Breakfast served 24/7 at very reasonable prices.

We were traveling home from a funeral, and wanted a good meal, not fast food. Based on other reviews, we chose Anthony's. After my car initially led us south on the service road, we turned around and found it on the north side. I am not an onion ring fan, but my husband is, and we all tried them. Only... More
