We stopped at this bakery last week - picked up some lemon cookies, brownies, bacon cheese bread, chocolate chip cookies and raisin scones. The service was lackluster and slow. The employees were friendly enough and there were plenty of them, but most of them were not actually helping customers. In short, the baked goods were a disappointment - lacking flavor... More

We stopped for a quick lunch snack. We got a little of this and that with the intention of taking some home for a snacking dinner. This place is perfect for that when on the road for a day trip. Everything tasted great. We looked around at all the specialty baked goods. My,my,expensive for this middle class couple. But we... More

Amazing club sandwich, chips & a drink to go. I stopped and had lunch made in about 7 minutes and was back on the road! Great place to stretch your legs and quickly get back on the road. I even grabbed a few Cookies for the road!

The coffee options are very well priced and expertly prepared. Cookies were fresh and represented by a wide variety. Only complaint is the Sunday hours are not as early as the rest of the week. I was traveling and wanted cookies and coffee for the road, but was unwilling to wait hours until they opened.

Had the tuna salad sandwich and it was great. A smaller portion size which was good for me. The desserts are fantastic!

Coming from Houston, we usually travel to Dallas/Ft Worth up I-45; however, today we took Hwy 6 over to Waco. We found this nice Collins Street Bakery there. We've always gone to the ones in Corsicana. This one is big, has a friendly staff and of course good food. All of which made our stop very enjoyable. Oh! And we... More

This is a beautiful, well decorated facility on the north end of Waco at the intersection of I-35 and Hwy. 84. The building is modern and the interior beautiful; however, on the Saturday morning my wife and I dropped by, a number of items I customarily find in bakeries were missing. There were no donuts, no chocolate eclairs, no cream... More

Collin Street Bakery has excellent Zucchini Muffins and great Carrot Cake!!! Their Apricot Fruit Cake and Russian Rock cookies are good too! They have a good selection of soups, sandwiches and salads. Atmosphere is very nice. There is a section with just tables and has a "cafe feel," then there is a section with couches and chairs with coffee tables... More

I would like to give this place 4, even 5 stars, but I simply cannot, based on the lack of seating space and the fact that this place was super understaffed for a busy day. The restaurant space, which is ample, should be able to accommodate the number of customers being served. The problem is, though, that you have several... More
