First of all, Town Square Cafe is part of the OLD town square of Tellico Plains. There you'll find a unique monument to those who have served this nation. Plan to take a minute to visit that. The ambiance is that of a friendly place that's been around for years where the regulars know each other by name and welcome... More

We were headed to Bald River Falls and wanted to stop in Tellico Plains to get some lunch. I am so glad i decided to stop in at Town Square Cafe. I had the BLT and hubby had the Philly CheeseSteak. Wow the food and service were really good. They also have the best sweet tea. If I am ever... More

We stopped here late on Sunday morning. I was not excited at my husband's choice. Entering the building almost had me turning away. The place looked like it was going to fall apart. I had a hard time finding a seat due to the fact all the seats were ripped wide open all the way across. After placing my order... More

Good food, reasonabley priced! Have to say that the place is basic food and well made. My Grilled cheese, ham and tomato sammy was really good! Service was fast and the place is very casual and old timey, with old stuff nailed on the walls...kind of like a Mom and Pop old fashioned diner...wouldn't hesitate to recommend! Closed on Tuesdays!!

We stopped here with some biker friends on Saturday, Sept. 17th and they were accommodating to our group. I suppose some might say the place oozes with small town charm but charm and torn up booth seats (all of them) shouldn't mean the same thing. I don't know, foam bubbling up out of the seats gives me a feeling of... More

I have eaten here twice (When Tellico Grains was closed ;) and enjoyed some cheap comfort food. I ordered the Reuben (both times) and it was very good.

They can't pass their health inspections. In TN, you can fail 3 out of 4 inspections and still serve food.

Little local diner that I didn't necessarily have high expectations for. Pleasantly surprised with a great omelette with great meats inside (great bacon) and very good hash browns though a bit on the oily side. Biscuit with gravy was pretty good as well though i expected more from the gravy. Owners were very nice as well. Service was pretty good... More

The food is minimally acceptable here. Frozen burgers are the best thing on the menu but there aren't alot of choices in the little town.
