We love Hunters. It is in such a quaint location. Food is always good, we have never gotten anything there we did not like. Their homemade bakes goods are over the top. It is always clean and the service great.

I liked the atmosphere of the building. It was very welcoming. The service was very good, and our server was very nice. Food was good. Ran out of soup and didn't have enough for everyone who ordered it at the table, but the server was helpful in finding an alternative.

My wife's birthday is celebrated for about 2 months every November and December. I took her shopping as a gift. Afterwards, exhausted as I was from shopping, I decided that we should stop for lunch. before heading home. Hunter’s Bakery and Café is located in downtown Sweetwater Tennessee. Downtown Sweetwater is occupied by a number of antique and gift shops... More

I loved this little place!! Great atmosphere. It's loved in an old bank building with original wood floors. Charming interior. Excellent service, the staff was so helpful and friendly and the food was delicious. My husband got the ham and bean soup with a Rueben sandwich and loved it. I got the smothered chicken sandwich which was a grilled juicy... More

We’ve dined in many of these old, creaky, restore buildings like Hunter’s Café. The entrance has a display of pastries that are irresistible, especially for my wife! Lots of big tables and space between them so when the lunch crowd was there, we were able to converse without yelling. In Florida, where we’re from, yelling in restaurants with old, mostly... More

Had the Mediterranean bruschetta appetizer which was great. My husband had the smothered chopped steak and I had the smothered grilled chicken with the tomato vinaigrette added. Both were great as were the zucchini and squash which were the vegetables of the day. Both of us had baked potatoes and his was loaded, which had pieces of real bacon crumbled... More

Great little place for lunch in the heart of Sweetwater. Good menu, excellent baked goods. My favorite was the grilled chicken and the club.

Good food in the heart of downtown. Fast service, and delicious home made desserts and treats! Surrounded by shopping in clothing and antique stores, the restaurant is easy access for a great day of fun.
