We love Elvira's! We always make this a stop every year on our trip to the Smokies. Now it is about the only place we go out to eat for breakfast at. BEST PANCAKES in the Smokies. I've never had a bad meal and everything is so fresh and tasty! The staff is always kind. Try it out, you'll be... More

Stayed around the Townsend area and most restaurants had a lot of fried foods and nothing local or fresh made. When I found Elviras I wished I had found it earlier. First visit was for dinner and I had FRESH trout which was very good with a great mixed green salad. The next day I went for Sunday brunch and... More

My family and I travel on vacation to this area 3 or 4 times a year and pass by Elvira's café all the time but never stopped in. A friend who is a local there told us we had to try it so we did. We were impressed by the building with its wrap around front porch. But the best... More

The kids were starving after a day at Cades Cove so we stopped in for dinner. Each of us enjoyed our meal. We had the prime rib and pineapple ham and the kids had the chicken tenders. The pecan cobbler and mint chocolate pie were delicious. The food definitely hit the spot! Had the pleasure of speaking with the very... More

Great menu. Friendly people. Breakfast, lunch and dinner are simply wonderful! You must go! Try the crepes! Try the corned beef! Try the chicken salad sandwiches! The quiche is so good! All the sides are excellent, especially the potatoes and onions.

The food was fresh, well cooked and delicious. We passed by several times and noticed they were always busy. Well, there's a reason! Grab the best breakfast in Wears Valley at Elvira's!

Not the best location but worth the drive. We had a group of four and everyone was thrilled with what they ordered. Would definitely recommend.

Good food, friendly people, great environment. Hard working staff who get you served quickly. Every time I go to the Smokies I'll be stopping there.

A drawback was that you have to climb quite a few steps to get to the restaurant and the parking lot is very sloped--a challenge for many people. I looked for a ramp but didn't see one. The restaurant is quite small and the tables are very close together. We went here on Saturday night to avoid the October crowds... More

What a treat!! The food was delicious. My favorite was the hash browns. Hubby and I each had a dish and we shared a fruit crepe. The crepe wasn't as sweet as I like, but it was still good. The coffee was very good. I had a chance to speak with the owner. She was so nice and she has... More
