Moved from Brooklyn ny to Virginia. Thought this was a real Italian restaurant. It tasted like olive garden. Terrible! To start off, the bread was horrific. The stuffed mushrooms were soaked with oil and filling was tasteless. The meatballs were mushy and had no pork...or beef flavor. The raviolis were supposed to be a pesto cream sauce and they added red sauce on top of the cream sauce. They were on the hard side with no real ricotta flavor in the middle. The owner and cooks should be embarrassed. Take a trip to NY and maybe learn how to run a restaurant. Wasted my money!More

Took my daughter and daughter-in-law to dinner. Complimentary bread was cold. Waiter offered no Balsamic Vinegar or dipping herbs. Salt and Pepper Grinder felt greasy. Not wiped down between diners??Restaurant did not seem busy or short staffed. Took order, food served, eggplant Parmesan was worst...I have ever had in an Italian restaurant. Just slices of eggplant, heavily battered and deep fried. Not terrible, just not good at all. Two daughters dishes were ok. Sampled my daughter zitti with chicken. Chicken had a piece of gristle. Asked for dessert menu , we asked for the sampler. Platter served, we figured out what was what. No real dining experience. Food Hall near Broadway would be just as good and as impersonal. Food-average AT BEST. Service- methodical.......ordered, delivered, check brought.More

My husband and I had our first date at Maggiano’s 10 years ago and we kept going back because of the piano bar. But it’s my understanding they have done away with the piano bar and that takes away the ambience of the restaurant. I...doubt if we will be going back. I think it was a big mistake of getting rid of the piano bar. I don’t know why they did it. You can blame everything on Covid but still the piano bar is what Maggianos stand out from the rest.More

On our girls trip we stopped here after a day of sightseeing and although we arrived kind of late, our wait was only about 15 minutes. Our waiter, who was from the Chicagoland area, was hilarious. He was very helpful and courteous even at the...late hour of our arrival. Food was delicious. Only drawback one of the ladies has a hard time with stairs and the access to the elevator is not shown anywhere on the lower level, so after some time of trudging up two flights of stairs, the hostess said the elevator was in such a place as it was hard to find. This is unacceptable. You need to at least put up signs or have someone downstairs to advise where to find the elevator.More

Maybe impacted by labor shortage but restaurant did not seem to be running well. Food was mostly good but ordering, plating, and timing all fell very short of expectations. Birthdays mentioned but no acknowledgement. Restaurant seemed dated and not clean. Chairs at tables very worn...and uncomfortable.More

Great atmosphere for celebrating an anniversary dinner or just a semi formal meal with family & friends. Zucchini was great for a starter. Fettuccini Alfredo was great, but enjoyed my lady’s spaghetti & meatballs more.

For 19 of the last 21 years we have celebrated Easter Sunday dinner at Maggianos either at Clark and Grand in Chicago or here in Nashville. Today was another excellent meal in the Maggianos tradition. The salads were cold, fresh, crisp and absolutely perfect. The...entrees of various pastas were all typical high quality and fresh. The bread and oil awesome. And the dessert sampler simply amazing with the Tiramusu cold, creamy and fresh. Addison's service was personal, attentive and professional. Mike was also wonderful. Great job all! As usual!More

We had just flown in from Orlando to Nashville and went to Maggiano’s for dinner - we were tired from dealing with face masks, airplanes/airports, etc... But, wow, did we perk right up when we walked in the door of this amazing / beautiful restaurant....You definitely feel like you have arrived to somewhere very special and the atmosphere just makes you feel ‘special’. Jake was our waiter and there are just not enough nice things / compliments that we can say. Professional, kind, knew the menu frontwards and backwards - also, recommended GREAT, reasonably priced wine (Decoy Merlot) that paired perfectly with my Chicken Parm and my husband’s mussels dish. This was such a memorable dinner and Jake made it the BEST! Food is fantastic! You cannot go wrong w/ anything that you order and we felt that prices were good for the portion sizes that you get. Maggiano’s my be a ‘chain’ restaurant, but the quality of the food feels like a family run Italian kitchen. Love it!!!More

Everything is ala carte. The only thing you get with your high priced meal is a basket of bread. We had a table for 6 with one saucer of olive oil for dipping. So much for the pandemic - each customer should have their own....Our waiter was super slow and the food is mediocre at best. Use your $$ to go somewhere else.More

No, but this is an upscale restaurant and business casual would be the normal. Fancy jeans would be appropriate as well. You can see coat and tie occasionally as well. Reservations are a good idea!
