We had heard the restaurant was good so we decided to have breakfast before leaving. The buffet had eggs, breakfast meat, French toast, grits, oatmeal, fruit, breads.

We made reservations for a group of 15 for lunch. When we arrived, our table was ready, and there were about three other tables of 4 already seated and eating. The restaurant was not busy. About 5 of our group got the buffet; the rest ordered burgers and quesadillas. Drinks never arrived, and when someone came to ask how we... More

The people here seem to be more on the ball than the hotel maintenance staff. I had a couple of in room meals and a couple at the restaurant. The trick is always order off the menu- never heat the buffet. The waiters took care of me except for one server - when I asked for mint tea, they said... More

Yummy ribs. Good taters. Nice salad bar. Chocolate Confusion for dessert - also very good. Friend had ribeye and I had a bite - good.

First experience wasn't great. Food was great. Had the grilled oysters. Just not enough food for the price. Gave them 2 more chances during my trip. Had their buffet for lunch one day. Delicious and a nice variety of great food. Had the gumbo for dinner one night, with a couple beers. Best gumbo I've ever ate at a restaurant.

We had the breakfast buffet for 3 days and the lunch buffet on Sunday. Ordered from the menu some evenings. Food was decent. You are in a tourist town and you are going to pay more than you think you should.

Staying at the hotel usually means convenient and quality dining on site. Not in this case. Pralines was only buffet for breakfast and at $12 you would expect it to be good. Far from it. Overpriced for the food provided and the eggs were cold, food was not resupplied regularly, and the wait staff were inconsiderate and downright rude in... More

I must respectfully disagree with the reviews that run this place down. We were in town for a Car Wash/Oil Change convention and were staying at the Millennium Maxwell House hotel. Arrived on Sunday and decided to give them a try at 8:00pm. Only couple in the restaurant. Ordered the Steak and Shrimp and split it. So glad that we... More

The menu is diverse and the food is very good but key is the great service - hospitable, friendly and efficient.
