We were alittle disappointed this time with the service, no music what so ever and the food wasn't as good as last time we ate there Nov 2016! We love eating at this place but this time was disappointing

Visited restaurant for early Saturday lunch with family. Wasn't crowded or busy. Friendly, attentive service. Best oysters I've ever had! Did not care for Kraut balls or ham rolls. Knackwurst was salty and underwhelming. Goulash excellent. But the German potato salad? Raw!! Completely inedible. Bathroom...More

I try to not be negative on reviews and always try to find the positive. I went here (based on reviews) this past Monday. It was Monday night football and the stadium is very close. I think the staff was anxious that it was going...More

Stopped in here for a bite on a Sunday evening. Staff seemed overwhelmed or something but the restaurant wasn't busy. Had a Rueben sandwich and a pork tenderloin sandwich which was very good. Huge schooners of beer. Would have been very nice if the service...More

I really, really wanted this meal to work.  Our party of seven arrived Monday eve to a mostly empty restaurant.  The dimly lit space was more lodge-like than beer hall.  The bar is connected to the dining space with no separation.  Instead of German music...More

We were lucky enough to arrive in time for Happy Hour and I got 2for1 wine. Extremely disappointed in the Potato pancake. We should have sent it back. The sausage platter, hot German potato salad and spatzzle was delicious!! We were hoping for Apple Strudel...More

We've visited multiple times and had great food and service. This last visit was not as great. So, it depends who the cook is at the time. You can get well prepared schnitzel or over cooked, too thick and so salty you can't eat.

This is one of the older, well established German restaurants in Nashville, and the location is convenient to the Nissan Stadium and close to downtown.. The atmosphere is genuinely German and the waitress was very friendly and talked with us about Germany as we had...More

It may have been from cross contamination. It was not very clean. The sewage smell is overwhelming at times. There were several comments regarding roaches as well. They are known to carry germs. I didn't see any, but... More
