About
Rooted in the traditions of regional cooking, Henley celebrates quality products made by American hands. That starts with the hand selected bourbon and Tennessee whiskey barrels that populate our drink program and extends to our rich appreciation for the bounty available in the American South. The atmosphere evolves as you move through the space: bright and breezy on patio, hushed and moody in Snooker. As for the inner sanctum--Henley’s coveted Rabbit Hole--well, you’ll just have to experience that for yourself.

This place is amazing! The food was some of the best I’ve ever had! The service was also excellent. We came here for a birthday dinner for me and it was perfect! We got the country fried Brie, the everything rolls, the scallops + grits entree, the crispy pork belly entree and the chocolate soufflé for dessert. Everything was delicious! I HIGHLY recommend the scallops + grits and the crispy pork belly. We were blown away by how good the food was. Our server, Katelynn, was very knowledgeable, attentive and sweet. I could not have asked for a better birthday dinner.

You get what you pay for! It’s true to this restaurant! 8 of us had dinner here after a long day library conference! It’s a short few minute walk from the convention centre! It’s situated in a hotel with modern trendy touch!
We have various appetizers, succulent spring rolls, light & fluffy potatoes and lightly charred cabbage! All really set our appetite for the main course!
Everyone ordered different dishes for the main: duck, lamb, chickens, Mac & cheese, salad, scallop & shrimp. I love my duck dish which was cooked to perfection matched well with some greens & homemade dumplings! Others all liked their main as well!
When it’s time for desserts, we all couldn’t resisted, so we had birthday cakes, creme brûlée’s, gooey cakes, ice cream, chai taco & chocolate soufflé. We exchanged a spoon or two among our desserts & they were all decadent!
I highly recommended if you want to enjoy a nice evening fine dining!

The food was out of this world! The atmosphere was great. The service was wonderful. Highly recommend Henley for any special occasion. We had grilled cabbage, Mac and cheese, kale salad, ham spring rolls, and for dessert....their version of a chocotaco! It was divine! The Manhattan cart is fun and delicious, too!

This restaurant / bar is located in the Kimpton. It's open for breakfast and dinner. Both menus are somewhat limited, but reasonably priced for a hotel. I had breakfast here twice and dinner once and all three meals were acceptable and delivered promptly once I placed my order.
They do have the music up way to loud but toned it down on request.

I had been wanting to try this place for a while and was finally able to last week. I was glad to see they were taking temperatures upon being seated and masks were available to patrons. Upon entry, the first thing you see is their great looking bar. That is probably the thing about the whole place. We chose to dine outside to enjoy the fresh air and people watch. The drink menu is exciting if you are up for trying their house cocktails. They are definitely different than what you will find down on Broadway. The beer selection is limited and the food menu is a pricey one page you get from their website. The food was decent, but took entirely too long to come out. Then of course everything came out at once, which is always an annoyance, especially at a higher end restaurant. It was a good experience, but won't be one I will go back for. Being local, I try to find new places in the city and give good input to travelers and other local diners. This place was average at best and definitely not worth the price. I wouldn't recommend it for diners with small children either.

Looking forward to a special night out and beautiful dinner with friends and family we'd not seen in a long time, we were in for a big disappointment. We saw only one waitress for the whole room so the service was very slow. She was lovely and it certainly was not her fault....just saying that one person could not provide decent service, even on a Monday night.
Our party of six ordered different items on the menu, none of which came close to the quality expected from a restaurant like the Henley. Mac and Cheese tasted like they forgot to drain the water from the pasta, watery and no flavor! The Barley Risotto had NO flavor at all, not even the vegetables. The bouillabaisse had flavor but the sauce was barely warm, like it had been sitting for too long before serving.
Not one to usually complain or say anything, I could not help myself. Our meals were not even mediocre, but awful!! So I told our waitress what a huge disappointment our food was! She was very nice and told us she would remove the Mac and Cheese and Barley Risotto from the tab, which she did. They also served us a complimentary dessert which was thoughtful. I have no idea what the problem was that evening in the kitchen but we will not be returning to this restaurant, nor would we recommend to anyone. For what we paid, even with two entrees removed, it was a joke.

We made a reservation and had to wait a long time for our table, even though it was empty. Everyone was given different menus and the staff was not able to determine which one was accurate. The food was also mediocre. Felt overpriced for the quality and portion size.

We tried Henley for brunch and now I understand why there are mixed reviews. I had the quiche, which was good, and the fact that they clearly have homemade crust does justify the $14 I spent. That said, my husband had the breakfast burrito bowl, which was the smallest burrito bowl we’d ever seen and was notably disappointing in quantity, composition and taste. Breakfast cocktails were also fine but I could have made a better Bloody Mary at home. So. Eat there if you want, but be prepared to be underwhelmed.

All we ordered was 2 egg whites, 1 order of white toast, 1orange juice and a cheese with spinach omelet. The juice was NOT fresh squeezed. The omelet had the spinach on the plate, not inside with the cheese. No potatoes or sausage included with the eggs. The bill came fast ( $28!) because we were in a hurry. He had forgotten my toast, so I had to remind him and he redid the bill which now cane to $34?!! For that barebones breakfast in our hotel. I was shocked and it was so disappointing when you compare it to what was on our plates. Also, the salt shaker was empty and when we had to flag down another waiter for a new one, he handed us the one he had just cleared from another table?! Are there no Covid safety measures here?

This is a fun place to have cocktails and it is convenient if you are staying at the Aertson hotel, but our food experiences have not been the best. Limited menu, and the breakfast was horrible. We ordered the Beignet biscuits and they came with some sort of bacon powdered sugar which made them inedible. The chocolate chia pudding was also not good. Vibe and decor are nice.

Did carryout breakfast here before leaving and it was so tasty. The Dutch Baby was unique and absolutely delicious. We split this and the Eggs Benedict with tasso ham which was also very tasty. I am not usually a fan of hotel breakfasts, but this was both unique and tasty. Would recommend.

The Henley was a revelation. The food was excellent. Nashville tends to be pricey, but the happy hour value is unsurpassed. From the minute we arrived, our waiter Duncan took great care of us. He knew the drink and dinner menu to a tee. My wife can be a bit of a handful and he gently guided her to a wonderful meal and cocktail. He really has mastered the art of attentive service while also letting us enjoy a leisurely evening. As a added bonus he recommended a wonderful hiking spot and few clubs on Broadway that allowed us to have an authentic Nashville experience. 5 stars for Duncan!

My Boyfriend & I were visiting Nashville together for our first time & he chose this restaurant based off of our common interest in wanting to branch out & try new & an different dishes. This place is definitely a gem! Everything from start to finish was top notch & executed flawlessly! The location,
ease of making reservations, courtesy of host, promptness of staff, attention to detail, our server was spot on & one of the most knowledgeable & kind humans, all of the plates were fantastic, we never felt rushed and he was truly genuine. The bar staff has been properly trained because they can truly make an Old Fashioned. My beverage also used authentic blood oranges. We indulged in the Pork Belly appetizer, which is a must with the cashews , pairs very nicely together. Can't say enough about how amazing the Braised Short Ribs taste. We over indulged & if you leave there hungry it's your own fault because their portions are superb. We also really liked the Polenta. Our favorite part was our Server Dustin! He definitely deserves a huge shout out ! He was very accommodating, knew to bring extra plates and silverware before we even needed to ask, he wasn't pushy , he is very smart , explains things & knows the menu , relates & engages with his patrons & is just a nice man all around. Definitely an asset ! Not to mention the aesthetic and decor overall of the building and interior is very inviting.

I really enjoyed everything about this place!
Billy was very personable and confident the ambiance was very cool, trendy, and romantic.
Billy was very knowledgable about the menu and we felt like he honestly cared about the quality of service we received.
I had the filet, while my husband had the chicken leg confit.
We were too full for dessert but will definitely be back!

We had a casual work happy hour and were greeted with a terrible attitude by the bartender. We were all on one check, in no rush, and were all in good spirits. We recognized that it was a larger group but it was from 4-6 pm when there was literally only one other duo at the bar with us. Really surprised by the cold welcome and I actually asked the bartender at one point head-on if it was going to be an issue if we stayed because I was tired of his passive-aggressive attitude with me.
Wouldn't recommend this place for a happy hour or impromptu drinks anytime soon. Wasn't crazy about the bar snacks we were able to order from the limited bar menu at 4 pm either. Decor and details are beautiful, but it really missed the mark on hospitality and overall experience. So many other good places to go to instead!
