Typical unfussy country pub. Friendly staff. Prompt service. Menu was all the usual pub fare but generous serves and wholesome. A noisy Saturday night with families taking up the bulk of clientele. Nothing more or less than expected.
We had been there a few months ago with friends n between lockdowns and decided to go back for dinner when we slept there on our way down to Wilsons prom. The 200grms grilled steak was excellent, cooked rear as required and very tasty served...with chips and 5 different vegetables. Service was prompt and friendly. A great place and very good valueMore

So great to be eating out and let someone else do the cooking. Rather quiet for a friday night, but that gave us the chance to chat with some of the delightful staff as they upskilled to table service due to covid 19. Steak was...delicious, veg bit overcooked for my taste but not a big deal
. Desserts looked so tempting that we had take away to enjoy later...choc brownie and lemon meringue..yum.More
4 of us had a meal for dinner. The service was exceptional from the phone call earlier in the day to tweak our booking time so we would not be rushed with the two sittings to the friendliness of the staff. All the meals were...generous and delicious and came quickly. We felt as though we had the dining space to ourselves with plenty of distance between groups and we were not rushed at all. We did not need to leave the table once seated. Drinks, meals, bill and eftpos machine all brought to the table. We loved Yarram and we loved this pub. We will be back.More
Although the meals ended up being very nice, the service was very slow. It was an excellent menu. Not much atmosphere at the moment with restrictions. Plenty of staff so could see no reason for the time it took to get a meal.
